Sonic Dream Team does so well with the animations! Reminds me a lot of the Sonic Advance series animations, they're both really expressive

I'm noticing it most in this clip, but it appears that everyone got a subtle redesign. Their limbs are a bit longer and their hands a bit smaller than in previous modern Sonic games. Not to the extent of Sonic Boom, but enough to allow for much more expressive, dynamic posing. It's a nice touch.

This is exactly what I was expecting a Sonic game on mobile would be like! It even has fully animated cutscenes here and there. Mobile games are so capable on home console AAA quality!

Fun Fact: The way Amy snaps her Hammer into existence is a nod to that one time in Sonic X where she did it when she was pissed.
