My family got mad years ago that I wouldnt go to my sisters gay wedding. I told them over and over again God says no to that and that i would not be attending. Man they tried to make me feel bad for not going but I wouldnt cave in. I was shunned for a while but I stood my ground and Jesus was that ground. I would not compromise. My brother even tried to fight me at a get together and I said my peace and walked away. I still see them from time to time but my sister has shunned me completely, my brother tried to start a fight last summer but I walked away as well. Had a good conversation with him and my dad present and laid out how I felt and I let it things be. The rest of my immediate family I see but I always try to be a light for them. Its tough but Jesus is my rock and thats where I will stand now and for the rest of my life.

It was supposed to be a beautiful day for her.... Sorry if my message seems judging, but yoir story really baffles me! It's not too late!

Around the 28 minute mark, Voddie mentions making a graduation speech. In 2017, I graduated Valedictorian of my class and was asked to give a "brief presentation of the class of 2017" during the ceremony. With a microphone and the attention of thousands, I instead reminded my peers of their mortality (a student in the school district recently died) and quoted Matthew 7:19-21, telling them that they would die in their sins and go to Hell if they did not believe in Jesus, that this world and its amenities was temporary. I then prayed for the salvation of every member of my senior class. Several visibly showed dismay during the ceremony for what I had said and the school later became very strict concerning having students speak.

Amen. I see teachers like him being in a different class than some of these new pastors who have come up in recent years. I fear the young people looking for a word will be drawn to the easy get along message and not teaching like this that is tough to swallow but builds strength. If that is true then why is he a Calvinist- who believes that Jesus only died for a chosen few - when the scriptures teach that Jesus died for everyone. You can't claim you follow what Jesus taught then turn around and follow doctrine of men and demons. He is one hundred percent correct. I recently was written up for not affirming a young man who wanted to be called a girl. This young man, in a previous conversation, told me of his depression and having autism. Then, on another occasion, he and I had a great conversation about the Lord/Gospel. Then he showed me his arm. He was cutting himself. This wasn't his first time. I then asked if I could pray for him/with him. I asked another employee who is Christian and was with us to join us in prayer. After work, I received a text from the young man. Stating this: "BTW I do know it's hard and I understand it's not something you can change easy but I do go by she/her". I replied: "I understand. But I hope you can understand that I can not affirm that. Because of my beliefs. That does not change my love for you and others. It just means God made you perfectly in the womb. But because this is a cursed world, we have brokenness. You unfortunately suffer from body disforia and depression. Which you know are mental illnesses. An illness that may be different from, let's say, cancer. Nonetheless, both are crippling to both mental and physical. I would never say to someone, "It's ok that you live in your illness" either way. How is that me loving you or others. I have suffered from depression and bi-polarism. I would hope rather than affirming me, people would love me and want to help me. You are more than flesh. You are a child of God created perfectly in His image. The light that is within you, not your appearance. I love you kiddo, and I will pray for you non-stop❤️🙏". For me, I stand with the Lord!

I met and developed a repoir with my spine surgeon whom I believed was a woman, then, while waiting to go in to my big surgery she shared that she has a wife, and that she came out 7 years ago....so... she is male (who wants to be a female)married to a female..because I met and knew 😂him as a she it is hard for me to adjust.....I just address the person as Dr x.now. I like my doctor very much. Dr.X showed me a picture of his wife, whom I replied was very pretty. My doctor is very aware that I love and follow Jesus. Sometimes, I wonder about the timing of having this shared with me moments before surgery. I felt so strange with the whole situation. I told myself, at least it is a man/woman marriage even if it looks like a same.sex marriage. I really prayed for the Holy Spirit to help me honor the Lord when this conversation occurred.

My question is not the when it was told but why was it told. This is personal information that doesn't concern the surgery about to take place. There is absolutely no reason for this conversation to ever have taken place. The fact that he said anything at all is highly inappropriate. After surgery, when he followed up, I definitely would have had a long conversation with him concerning it's inappropriate nature. I would also educate him on what God says.

Dr. Baucham is not a Baptist or Reformist or any other man made name. He is a servant of God, period. With all the miracles and laws on Moses' resume, the Bible calls him simply a servant of God. As we all should be. When our Eternal Rabbi is teaching us His Word under the new heaven, there will be no denominations nor disagreements. One heart and one accord, how it's supposed to be.

So, now we are using Peter as the standard for why we should not say such things? Anyone that says that will do just what Peter did? What about Shadrach, Meshech, and Abednigo? They said that they would not bow down or bend the knee also, and they didn't. Neither did Daniel. The truth is that we would like to believe that we will stand firm if our resolve is tested, but none of us know what we will actually do when that time comes. I pray that God will give me the grace and courage to stand firm and immovable because I know that while the spirit is willing, the flesh is weak.

Titus 2v5 and 1 Timothy 5v14.. is your litmus test. Most preacher's cannot preach on this because their conscience will accuse them of hypocrisy, as their wives are away from home 10 hours a day. Good for you. Parenting is so essential. I'm pushing 70 and my testimony is based on Proverbs 22:6. My mom made sure my sister and I were involved in learn the ways of the Lord. As a teenager (about 17) I walked away, but I never forgot Him. About 15 years ago my wife and I both came back to the Lord. He provided a lot of learning in or lives over the years -- even when we did not realize His guidance -- so now as seasoned citizens we proclaim His name and teachings with no fear. What Pastor Voddie said about the people loving us when we serve our communities..... In the next small town over, they have a large festival and parade in July. Now, they love our food banks, our free soup suppers, and thrift shops, but at that parade this past July, as usual, the churches joined up, made their float, and threw candy to the children. But...this year they were also passing out Gospel tracts from Living Waters. A woman made a post on our local Facebook group about how offended she was, that one of the tracts ended up in the hands of her 10 year old daughter. There were over 500 comments that were so absolutely hate-filled. I cried reading them, because I realized how much Jesus and His church are hated in these days. The true persecuted Christians are currently in Africa, the Middle East, Asia, North Korea, and China, and I'm sure other places too. No one here said that the majority are persecuted, but we are certainly framed and slandered up by the media more than any other group, while the minority is being treated as the majority, is given special treatment, and is promoted to children in schools when they took prayer out of schools 60 years ago, and it's been a downward spiral ever since. Christians are by far the most stigmatized, mocked, and slandered because that's what's socially acceptable. What we're saying is that Christianity is the most persecuted religion(statistics show). I have tried to desciple ministers on these issues with a biblical view. The unwillingness to look at scripture, to understand what Jesus says in truth and to stop twisting scripture. It is harder to talk to these so-called ministers of the faith than to talk to non-believers. A big solid impenetrable wall.

As long as you don't turn back, your forward progress is all good in God's time. I too struggle with anger, much less so today than 5 years ago thanks to God. Read His Word every day, without fail. Pray to Him every morning and every evening, at the minimum. Christ has you, He won't let you go. Someday the pain you feel about your sins will become soothing and sweet because you know that your deterrent from it is the Holy Spirit of Christ living in you!! None of us are worthy, but we will all be saved ❤️‍🔥🕊️✌️

After going to churches for 45 years I went to this one black holy roller church I got filled with the real Holy Ghost speaking in tongues exactly like what happened to the apostles. It happened in a split second. My whole thought process changed instantly. I have the mind of God in me now. And power comes with it. I have prayed a seen body injuries healed instantly on my construction job. I have supernatural peace even in the time of trouble and believe me when you follow God with all your heart you get trouble but God Jesus is a very present help in the time of trouble. I have never lacked. In mornings I read the Bible until I feel that spirit of God awaken in me and I feel him off and on during the day. "Seek ye first the Kingdom of Heaven and ALL the other things shall be added unto you". Any person who repents can receive the spirit of God just like in the book of Acts. You just ask Jesus. It is an awesome life when you feel his supernatural spirit around you in the day. You don't even have to carry a gun because God is your shield and protector. "If God is for you who can be against you?"
