It sets unrealistic goals for the youth that look up to them. Honestly, steroids shouldn't be demonized as much as they are in society. A lot of them just help people sleep or increase appetite, since those are big parts of muscle growth.

i'm super excited for dungeons and dragons. i've been playing for quite a while and I was scared it was gonna be like the other game to movie adaptations we've seens for the past few years (slightly subpar, an example that springs to mind is uncharted). i was pleasantly surprised :)

I have hope but I am nervous that they will push a social agenda, specifically a woke agenda in this movie. As such, I will have to wait to see it. The trailer kind of gives the vibe that this is the direction they want to go, but I hope I am wrong.

It kind of looks like a bad movie to me. Bad script, mediocre acting, everything focussed on CGI.

What I am really hoping for is how well it displays Faerûn - a long-established D&D world with lots of lore, and this movie is going to be showing the well-known north-western corner of it.

Appease the Chinese Communist Government to distribute films in their theaters. 2. Take advantage of their Trillion Dollar consumer spending base. 3. The deal is, that unless Hollywood showcases more popular Chinese Asians actors in Hollywood films. They won’t let Hollywood disperse their films into the Chinese market w/o honoring that pledge.

They call them "living room sequences". Writers get paid extra to do scenes that could take place in someone's living room. I saw a writer for star trek: TNG waaaay back in the day talk about it as a seminar, and that he saw a LOT of that coming in the future (and this was mid nineties). He also said there would be an emphasis in attracting female fans in all genres, because women like to hear about people's feelings, and men want to see action, but action costs $$$ and feelings cost next to nothing. Welcome to "entertainment" 2022. The woke crowd has latched onto this, but it's the corporations that want to make it a reality to maximize profits. Imagine making 1 billion of a movie that costs $10,000,000 to make, as opposed to making half a billion on a movie that costs half a billion to make. The sacrifices the studios are making now (mega buck movies tanking at box office) is a final push to bring in female fans... I think overall they have failed though, because at the core, comic books are a male dominated genre, and trying to force-feed it to women (and beta males) has been a failure. Men still don't care about people's feelings.

The dialogue can be as great as Shakespeare, but chances are the movie is going to tank because the whole thing doesn't match the feel of the comic.

It will be a made for tv movie and Dylan O'Bryan isn't coming back to be in the film as Styles. Unsure how they can do a reprisal film without a main cast member. It has been 5 years ish since the show ended and not e everyone is as youthful looking as they looked when the tv finale ocvurred, while others haven't changed one bit...so....

In the comics, since his creation in the 60's T'Challa never even HAD a sister until decades later in 2005 when John Romita Jr created Shuri, and so in the comics, it was actually T'Challa who was a renowned genius who was not only smarter than Reed Richards and Tony Stark, but also had a mastery knowledge of magic not just science; so he also was rivaling Dr. Strange. So what did they do in the first movie? They took that away and gave the science intellect to Shuri, who never posessed those traits in the comics. Moreover, in the comics, he had a healrhy love life with several characters including Storm. Obviously because of FOX legal contract BS (which despite Disney buying Fox, is still in effect for the Fox X-Men actors contracts until they expire in 2025), we never got to see this in the first movie, but, in the first movie, he was dumped by an ex, of which they mentioned they had an on and off relationship that we now see will never be fixed. How is that good for a king; kinda embarassing. Hell, the Dora Milage in the comics are supposed to be his wives in waiting lol I get they didnt want to carry that over to the live action in fear of backlash from many modern feminists who cant accept different cultures but whatever. Btw they also nerfed all Wakandans in general because the Vibranium in Wakanda for millions of years has enriched the soil so it has had an evolutionary genetic influence on the various flora, wildlife and even the Wakandans themselves ot a small varying degree as they have traces of Vibranium naturally in their bloodstream, making them stronger, more agile and having more stamina than the average human, which would explain the advantage of why the Dora Milage are so formidable (not just that theyre 'strong willed women' ugh) But thats not actually anything new with MCU. They didnt even bother to give Peter his Spider-Sense until late into his 2nd movie, originally making Tony's suit he made for him be his Spider-Sense; they nerfed Drax, Gamora and Groot in GotG, they nerfed Thor for years, they nerfed Hulk, they nerfed Wanda for years, they had Pietro die from a bullet (lol), they didnt even bother to properly bring in Adam Warlock who in the comics was integral to the Infinity Gems saga and relationship to Thanos, they shoved in Captain Marvel though; a character nobody asked for from a comic run that had to be rebooted 7 times since 2012, and so yeah its not surprising they nerfed T'Challa, and even more not surprising they wont recast him and are hiding it under 'tribute to Chadwick Boseman" even though they probably STILL would have made Shuri the black panther even if Chadwick never got Cancer and died. I had already seen rumors of that before anyone knew he was sick and that he wasnt happy about it. Thats why his brother said Chadwick would not have been opposed to the idea of recasting. He understood the importance of the character. And even if it doesnt end up being Shuri, and its instead Okoye, or a revived Killmonger, its still not going to be T'Challa, so hence, it will be a weaker Panther and not continuing his story.
