Great run, guys. Watched almost the whole thing. At times I left, but I saw the end of each encounter. Started off strong! Planets was crazy and boss was hard to tell what was going on during second loops. GG

Honestly this raid seems pretty fun and chill to run and a good entry point for new raiders because of the simple mechs. it may not be what the vets wanted you know last wish 2.0 but it sure looks fun to do. and i don't think the problem is that the bosses hp were low i think bungie underestimated how good mods 2.0 are having a 22% dmg boost that last 30 sec at least on top of everything was huge you can have up to 2 min max that will last till the next dmg phase lol with any weapon type and also the subclass you want and in the hands of top tier players this happen. i say this because i saw other teams have "normal" 3 phases were the dmg was high but not this.

my team figured out that if you get through the nodes quick enough the you can pause sweeping terror without killing the tormentors and stack the time to get around 1 minute 15 secs in order to get the rest of the nodes in the next phase and wipe the barrier before the next phase, makes thing less rushed for sure

Well up until now it took like an average of 7 hours for a worlds first clear. Not including the reprised raids. This one was just weak tbh.

@@jeffsammer4473 Definitely not an average of 7. Most raids were completed in 3-5 hours and some outliers, such as scourge and wotm were completed in 2 hours.

Imo, this wasn’t an exciting worlds first race, it’s just connecting the dots and absolutely melting bosses because bungie doesn’t know how to give bosses more health, or make builds less op

No they just dont know how to make boss mechanics if they made a boss unable to kill people or at least move them out of well with a mechanic its dogshit rhulk had prevaling darkness which meant if u got hurt by him too much u died these bosses didnt have anything so u just stood in well and facetanked on CONTEST BTW non contest these bosses will go down like flies

@@maxipt9194 no it’s not part of the story. I shouldnt be able to watch sweatcicle hold div on nezerak and everyone else literally shoot rockets and drain his health and 2 phase him on contest mode. The only part of contest that was a problem was the normal ad damage. The boss has 0 health. Also you sound really pissed off so I’d recommend taking a chill pill

This was my first time watching a worlds first raid race after playing the game nearly 7 yrs like a third of my lifespan (im 17) but the raid was literally so boring it kinda felt like a chore to even watch. I kinda just want to know the lore behind the raid to know why bungie even considered making it. It doesn’t make a good impression as the first raid of the season with 2 dungeons coming in the upcoming seasons and a raid as well (from what I’ve heard). I just got back home and now I just want to know if the weapons are good so I can even consider doing the raid.

Funny thing for my team is we had a late starter, so for the first 3 hours we 5 manned the first 2 encounters and started 3rd encounter, we were pretty speedy up until that point

I hate how this day 1 is so easy. All of the bosses just fall over and the ads are pushovers half the time. Also the mechanics stay pretty much the same throughout the raid, with the only changes being the planets in 3rd. Not only is the raid easy, but people get 48 hours to beat it for some reason.

So how does the encounters with the orbs work? My guess is that it's destroying ones away from the origin point or whatever, but I don't doubt I'm wrong

shooting the glowing orb gives a buff that shows the dark orb that needs shot. go back to the glowing orb and repeat. the dark spots will only have one orb and that is the orb that needs shot meaning. there could be 3 dark spots. only one has an orb thus that is the orb that needs shot. its a very easy rinse and repeat process

shoot orb with big white aura around it to get buff, first orb points to the location of the second orb you need to shoot with the buff, second points to third, etc etc. it's really simple

If think they reused mechanics way to much. 1st 2nd and 3rd use exact same mechanic( which is easy as hell) and there really is only one person that needs to know what to do. Also DPS checks were non existent in the raid and if this is what day one looks like, the boss will die in 2 thunder crashes off contest. Raid looks fun and cool as hell, but in terms of a challenge I think it is one of ( but not the easiest) raids we have so far.

I wish. But the story showed that The Witness walked inside of the triangle that he cut into the side of The Traveler. So he's gone. Throughout the campaign you can hear Nezerac talk to you, news reports on Neomuna say that people are having nightmares and they all hear his name in their dreams. Did you know that there are some places that you can only heat his voice if you equip items related to him? If you wear the Nezerac's Sin helmet, equip Nezerac's glaive or the exotic fusion Delicate Tomb, you can hear his voice in specific places. That was such a cool Easter egg
