Yes. You're correct. This All Devouring Narwhal is an otherworldly being outside the Genshin world. And this creature brings apocalyse wherever it goes.

Also yes. This isn’t Yu Peng Chen. Sadly there will not be anymore Yu Peng Chen tracks but that’s fine. He passed on some of his knowledge to others and now it’s their time to shine!

If anything it's a big L for over world music because ypc doesn't hesitate to put banger melodies for places we don't visit much (like vimara village for example, or tanit tribe where we don't even go once in AQ yet they have banger melody ost tracks)

This was so different from all other boss themes when I first heard it and it was so good I had an eargasm and had to take off my headphones and put the game down for a few minutes before continuing

Its title is "Visitor from the far side of the Sea of Stars." It comes "beyond" the world. To eat the the primordial sea. The sea Said to be the purest origin of all things. It is the "pet" of a mysteriouse person/being called surtalogi or "The Foul." You also fight a being only know as "The Shadow" you fight it after being swallowed by the Whale.

This music gives me chills everytime I can't wait for Hoyo-Mix to release it on Spotify. As for the otherworldly vibe, The whale (source of the character Childe's constellation) is a leviathan from BEYOND Teyvat that consumes and can create worlds inside itself (I've heard ppl say the space where the 2nd phase takes place resembles Sea of Quanta from Honkai). I feel the music really sells the magnitude of this boss and certain parts sound like whale sounds it's really cool 👀🥰

I just noticed, the bg music that was playing just before the outro and during your conclusion. It had some of the "all devouring narwhal" elements. 👍

the dude over there has the title "Visitor from the far side of the sea of stars" so yeah he is not playing and that's why it doesn't sound like the rest of the game this thing isn't part of the planet where the game takes place it's an intruder

Sucede tambien q se repite, pq la parte esa , corresponde a cuando estas dentro del narwhal que no es demasiado tiempo por eso es mas corto y tienes q repetir la canción, por eso aquí se repite pq si no tienes un daño bien alto tendras que entrar en la ballena una 2da vez

@@silverstar1614 nah that's the point, being similar when it's not is literally what hi3 players like to keep mentioning. many hi3 players keep comparing fu hua to Arlecchino when arlecchino is from an italian opera trope, character from fontaine (european/france), and she works in a russian organization so theres no way she knows kungfu, even her personality aren't the same nor the way she talks. Or when they compared navia to vill v when their only similarity from the leak was the fact that she shoots canon, and the canon wasn't even the same as hi3 coz it looks more medieval in Genshin. If you say it sounds like it should come from hi3, then why haven't it been in hi3 after 7 years? They're still doing oldschool dubstep on their trailers so wtf?

We never where talking about the characters here man, all we are talking about are the songs, and i dont give a fuck for what you think about the similarities or unsimilarities of characters, all OP said was that he loved how the song fits in a Honkai game and thats all.

I've been seeing your comments a lot in many different genshin videos, but this is probably the only time where i highly disagree with your opinion(I got my own opinion which doesn't overrule your). The Dubstep just sounds so good and alien like here just like the whale, plus it has all kinds of synthesized whale sounds in it too.

@@Mayank_MJ just my opinion you don't necessarily need to agree with. Because no matter what when I think of abyss, dub step isn't something that comes to my mind to associate it with. Chasm battle themes (the ones composed by others I love all of them) or something like childe phase 3 would be it (though still electronic it's still excuted like it feels it doesn't belong here)

@@spymadmax584 the reason why Dubstep is used is because the whale is literally not from this world. It's from neither teyvat nor the abyss, it's from another universe probably. The only connection it has to the abyss is that it lives there, nothing else

@@Mayank_MJ Indeed. Marana also had a similar sound texture, for similar reasons. Teyvat is usually represented by typical orchestral music, regardless of the cultures the music is based in. Heavily electronic music is only used in-game to portray aspects that are alien to Teyvat.
