Googled up for Dakota and found Melanie Griffith (my once upon a time fav) is her Mother. That's a connection. Dakota's work in Grey is so beautiful, strong, rich and very well defined and she has done 100% justice to the character. So overwhelmed at the way she has emoted for those 6 hits on her back, that made me cry for her. And the director has an awesome research into the plot of the film and the message. So much clarity.. Hats off to the director.

They can criticize her on all 3 fifty shades movies..But That role is bold and a hard move. I admire her for doing those 3 movies..For those people that gave her rotten tomatoes they can eat their heart out.Because of what she did with the movies.She attracts a lot of people particularly women attention around world..Other countries have lots of restrictions about the movie but when people was able to watch it in their own time loved it.I just posted a comment on fifty shades and I have 806 like comments around world.And yes there are countries that they allowed the all 3 movies because of the provocative scenes..What can I say?”I’m a fan”.

@@ildikoszucs2428 You mean All 3 Fifty shades books?Because all I read 10x already and I own & watched the all 3 Blu-ray with the uncut version everyday when I got the Blu-ray for the whole year plus this quarantines/lock down.There’s more story in the book than the movie. In my world of fantasy I just imagined Dakota did all of story in the book.For that I admired Dakota more.Wishing there more movies out of it.Even a lot people wanting and longing for more.But the writer and producer Erica L.James decided that’s it.Hopefully Dakota and Jaime will going to have a project the future.

I love Dakota. She really has a good head on her shoulders and has definitely made the right choices in her career. She showed so much grace during her filming of the Shades Trilogy especially when rumors were flying about her and her co-star.

I will never understand the Fifty Shades criticism. They’re great and the acting is absolutely superb, in my opinion. One of my favorite book and movie series of all time. If you don’t like BDSM and/or erotic fantasies, fine. But not everyone feels that way, yet it’s barely talked about. Many are into it or wish to be. The subject is kept on the DL for no reason other than the fact that it makes people uncomfortable, which it shouldn’t. Grow up and be proud of your sexuality and fantasies.

It wasn't original. That's my criticism of it. The name Grey was in the short story Secretary (also made into a film). The Red Room was nicked from Jane Eyre. The Story of O was written in the 50s and much better.

it’s not an accurate representation of bdsm. clearly you don’t know anything about the bdsm community if you thought that everything about that franchise checked out. grey isn’t a dom, he’s a domestic abuser who would’ve been locked up in prison if he was a broke dude living in a trailer as opposed to a billionaire. not to mention, the books are written worse than a wattpad fanfiction. because they were originally fanfiction, based on twilight. nothing is original.

Don with his long running TV series of Miami Vice, Melanie with all of her movies, Tippi in an era of glamour with Hitchcock and then Banderas with his Spanish Charm and looks. What about that doesn't ring Hollywood Royalty to you. Perhaps you just don't know what Hollywood Royalty is or looks like. Take a look, this is exactly what it looks like. Believe me, we are all so proud of Dakota, not just for her acting but her stand on animal rights and women's rights. She has a platform and she uses it for the benefit of others. This young woman is not a selfish person, she's a loyal friend and advocate of others. You would do well to have her as a friend.

I suppose you cannot choose your parents but I guess if one of your parents admits to taking drugs, tells you that you are so beautiful, talented, a great composer, a good mother, a wonderful wife and helps you to hook up with someone famous, then I guess you will believe that they are the qualities you possess. So Dakota, I do admire you because you made it on your own, have worked from a young age, have become a beautiful, independent woman and I hope you have now got what your heart desired.
