i honesty enjoy watching the show being more of superheroes save the day type of show. since all characters act as perfect superhero characters through whole show and given of objective to save human and digital worlds from disasters since Day 1. in contrast to normal kids being trapped in different world trying work together to survive like original show. they simply two different shows.

This episode made me wish for the other characters to have solo episodes lol. Personally I feel like this episode should have happened sooner, when Agumon and Tai were still getting to know one another, of like Dimzy said if this version of Tai was like the original one. I still like Tai, but I wish they would give him room to grow or let him and Agumon have a break.

I don't mind if he is in every episode tbh, but my question is... how has Tai become better as a person from episode 1 to episode 57

The Taichi Yagami I grew up with and looked up to left the franchise the second Kizuna ended for me. This isn't Tai, just a reboot of his character. A wannabe. And as a separate character, I don't mind his lack of progressions at all. People have been complaining about his presence in every episode, but y'know, that's what the show has been designed since episode 1. I don't like how my favorite googlehead portrayed like this, tho, and I get your point. Sorry if I stated that he's a Tai wannabe, but the way I see it, it is what it is. Let's try to enjoy the show up to the end. Cheers!

See here is the thing, I have seen comments and I understand the notion of "let's enjoy it for what it is" or "if you don't like it don't watch it". What I say to that is, my commentary is just my personal thoughts and should not affect someone's enjoyment of something at all. In regards to your comment about the character of Tai ending for you after Kizuna, I can understand why. However you called this Tai a wannabe and a poor one at that. And then accepting that 2020 simply isn't good enough with its characterisation does not sit right with me personally. Like why should fans have to sit back and accept poor writing? I did not complain about Tai being in every episode in this video, because it was his character centric episode. And him being the main guy has been set up from the beginning, I agree with you on that BUT how much has Tai changed from episode 1 till episode 57 from a character point of view? Sure he has learnt more about Agumon, the digital world and probably gotten stronger physically from all the travel. But as a person how has he matured? As a leader how has he improved? As a big brother how has he become better? He has been the same and this episode laid it out clear as day

@@DimzysDomain this might be just me, but from my POV, this show is directed for younger audiences who, these days, love actions more than characters. Hence how Tai is shown to lack any development. I agree that he's already perfect and I don't like that. I'm sorry if my point isn't that clear. I hate the way it's portrayed too but have been trying to swallow what the show offers me.

Review: This episode left me unimpressed. I hoped this episode to give me some new information about the last villain (appearance, more detail about The Great Catastrophe, connection on Millenniummon, motive of villain, something else surprising that I cannot think right now), but we only got the location of his/her whereabouts and confirmation that Algomon is not the final villain or at least not directly or black orb is Algomon Super Ultimate +++ deluxe. Now I'm just left too unsatisfied by the lack of new information. Taichi wasn't the main problem for me in this episode, but how he and Agumon were used. It felt like a really clichéd, the strong bond we had already seen a couple of times before in this reboot between these characters. IDK, it didn't buy me this time. And fight scenes weren't really that great, but it doesn't matter in this context. At least Algomon (perfect (human form)), was able to talk other than Google translator voice so I give a big plus for that. BTW, I liked how there were different Taichi clones (happy, angry, and sad), but I thought where's horny Taichi: "Harder Algomon!!!" 😏

I think we have some characters that started the show in a way and are now just exactly the same...Tai, Sora, Izzy, Takeru too...they were just flowless from the start... Otherwise I think Mimi, Matt and Kari did have some little progression in their characters. Mimi was kind of spoiled at the very beginning and now she is more unselfish, Matt was a loner and distant person who learned to open up to people, Kari was more dependent at the beginning and now she is more indipendent and wants do things without help...(not sure about Joe thought)

This should have been a crossover Episode with Savers like have Tai, Marcus, and there Agumon team up or add Rhythm from the movie.

Really been loving the finding of the meaning of the crest/ stop the catatastrophe arc just don't have much to say but good to see algomons again agumon energy wave destroying all the fake tai's cool cant wait for next week I'll have much to talk about for that Kari an tailmon episode

LOL @ all of you disappointed/surprised this remake sucks. You should of learned your lesson from past experiences FMA -B, Inuyasha/Yashahime, Sailor Moon Crystal, Dragon Ball Super all of these remakes/continuations suck so bad I've set my mind to avoid/boycott all anime remakes/continuations because I know they'll all suck so my expectations are as low as possible. I stick with the old. All the industry wants is to be Hollywood milk a franchise to make money being afraid to take risks and invent something new. I don't watch any anime after the early 2000's.

This episode feels out of place in my opinion. I like the return of Algomon and the bit of lore given but the middle of the episode felt weak and pointless. I do like that this episode confirm that the true main villain is in the network and that this digimon either it be a new one or a returning villain has been around for a long time. In the end the only part that was great was the end of the episode, other than that it would be a skip in my opinion.

So what are your points to counter the points I raised? "harsh opinion on japanese kids show" .... ok? If people are not allowed to comment on them, i guess since it's so foreign, why are you watching kids japanese show mr adult? Calm down. It isn't hate if you listened to the video.

Enjoy it or don't watch it? How about critical thinking and being honest abiut my personal thoughts? I suggest you to make a video or post and tell your thoughts. Not everyone has to agree. It's OK.
