I live in Texas and we get Saharan dust blown all the way from Africa on pretty much a yearly basis. The air sometimes looks like this and it's not fun to breathe. We also get smoke from farmers in Mexico burning their fields on an annual basis.

Thats what the sky looks like right before the zombie apocalypse breaks out.

Yeah I live on the Canadian border. It’s been really crappy. No one complains til it gets to population centers. But it’s bad lots of places!

@JesseDylanMusic it really is. And the smell is horrid. I own a pony and donkey sanctuary and some of our little ones have lung issues and it's been hell for them.

When I was a kid, I went to Day Camp during the summer. When they took us roller skating, I clearly remember the employees at the rink yelling at us saying "Don't hold on to the walls." Well, I listened to what was being said. Shortly after, one of the employees yelled at us again for holding on to the wall, I fell and twisted my ankle, bad. While I was being tended to, I looked at the employee that told me not to hold onto the wall and told her, "You should have let me hold on to the wall."

Every post I see about the Canadian wildfires is just blaming Canada for the smoke (like "thanks Canada"), never any concern about the Canadian neighbors to the North who are literally fighting not to lose their lives and homes to these fires. Says a lot about American attitudes, and human nature in general.
