Just bad acting. False interpretation. Character follows the narrative thats indeed fictional. Just look what they did to movie. Pictured me as a Dead USA black ops terrorist - assasin. Does this look right to you? Margo dressed as a fashist? Taking some monster cock from a rich guy?!? Buueeeh. Discusting. So, Is that the character you fell in love with? rated R ruined it. People really get carried away with the evil they themselves crave. I sentenced director of this movie to karmic payment plan. Movie failed at the box office by a whooping 120 mil $ in debt. No one likes this movie. I really got nothing to worry about. Except my true fans. Stay true. Loves, Harley.

I'm glad she went more expressive with the accent in this film. I remember an interview with the first film she mentioned wanting to go full flair but decided to tone it down so her voice wouldn't overly contrast her costars

People seem to underestimate Harley and completely forget that she’s incredibly smart and a very skilled gymnast. People tend to focus on her insanity only, which she is of course, but they think her character is just the “crazy girl.” In the comics, she has proven herself to be lethal sometimes, and even smarter than the Joker.

Harley Quinn is an icon in the DCU! We love her! And I love her! I used to be obsessed with her and every now and then I’ll find myself coming back to her. I don’t know why but she’s just a really fascinating character……crazy, but fascinating. She looked so beautiful in that dress. I love the part when she breaks the guard’s neck with her thighs. That was a totally badass moment. The Suicide Squad was awesome!

We have enough info on them from their portrayals in their respective movies to judge how they would react in hypothetical situations. Now some hack motherfucker could decide to deviate, if he wants he could write a movie where superman just sits there jacking it to bestiality porn, but nobody will accept such a radical departure from the established Superman's personality and judgement. Do you understand how this works? Now what in the fucking hell makes you think that the Nicholson or Ledger or Pheonix Jokers would want her to be their partner? That she would want any of them? That their respective brands of villainy are even remotely compatible with hers? The Nicholson Joker horribly disfigures and enslaves the "women he loves". You think the Robbie HQ would put up with that shit? The Ledger Joker indiscriminately murders children and people in hospitals and doesn't care about profit or power but only wants to see the world destroyed, and his own people are as expendable as a magazine of bullets to him. You see Robbie's HQ aligning herself with that shit? You see Ledger's joker viewing her as anything other than just another one of his mental patient followers at best and a distraction at worst? how about the Pheonix Joker. He has the charisma to incite lost souls into violent rejection of society, but that's the only kind of charisma he has. He has no other aspiring goals, and she does. She is a societal outsider, not a madman trying to destroy society itself. The Robbie HQ would at best work with these other Jokers on a limited basis towards a specific goal but would probably find herself at odds with their aims as often as allied with them.

I love the black and red hair. I'm not a huge fan of the wig though. I can really tell it's a wig and the way the color was applied just looks weird to me. The first Suicide Squad and Birds of Prey made the wigs look way more realistic. The start of this movie when she had her hair braided was really good but it just looked odd for the rest of the movie. Idk maybe I'm just too picky lol

The scene when she shoot the president was truly a Harley Quinn moment in its trust form from her killing a guy that she liked instead of turning him down because he was fine with killing kids, to her statement about all his pretty little evil thoughts being all over the floor, to her going sane for 5 sec to question that a gun used for display purposes actually had a bullet in it. It’s scenes like this and her escape that shows us that The Suicide Squad understood Harley Quinn more then the Harley Quinn movie. Oh and the Harley Quinn movies version of Black Canary was shit to.

Finally! A comment section where people appreciate these movies and Harley's fight scenes. The last comment section I went to berated anyone who dared to say they loved Harley in these movies. I also saw someone claiming they could beat her in a fight in real life. That one had me laughing for a good bit.

I feel like nobody noticed the meta-irony of people talking about killing kids constantly throughout the movie and Harley saying it's a red flag, when Gunn was fired from Disney for old jokes about killing kids among other things.

The way Harley stands out is literally because of her colour palette compared to everyone else in the movie

I guess you can say that.. But even if she was in all black she would still stand out. Her character as Harley Quinn and the execution of it is just to good. Dead shot also stood out to me in the first suicide squad and he had the same colors as everyone else. I guess it's because of the banter BTW him and Harley Quinn but also because of his acting or maybe simply because he was played by will Smith.
