Worked perfectly after upgrading the phone to Android 10 (you can let the phone upgrade with WiFi in recovery vol-up + usb mode). :) P20 Pro CLT L04

Got this fixed, you need to download dload(search in xda forums), use a usb stick, format to ntfs, drag dload folder onto usb, use usb - usb c adapter and plug in phone. After do factory reset - and go to emergency recovery - update - choose sd option(not usb). Wait for update to be complete, after complete phone will restart, as soon as Huawei logo shows up press volume up + power buttons. Then just just go straight to update - emergency recovery, and now it should work. Tested with P30 and working.

Method #1: see my video Thumbnail, if it is same in your phone then its Android/EMUI 10. Method #2: connect phone into fastboot mode and read info with USB cable and via PC/Laptop

Im trying to google unlock a huawei P30, and I've watched all of your tutorials but I'm still having trouble. No matter what I do, the phone is stuck in airplane mode with nfc mode on, so I can't use any of the normal methods to unlock. I tried to factory reset it, but it doesnt seem to actually reset it because it jumps from being 20% complete to 100% complete and then when it restarts, the phone is still stuck in airplane mode with nfc on. How do I fix this?

When I clear data the menu I get don't show the option "back", then the whole thing falls down, Any suggestions? IT shows the option "safe mode" instead. No update mode, eRecovery in sight, I get lost there. In fact when I Turn on the phone Emui shows me the option Download latest version and recovery instead of restart. I'm on a p30 lite.

Just after I type yes to factory reset it comes up red warning saying that I will need to log in after rebooting to google account?!? Plz help

Try downgrading your phone's firmware to: HMA-L09 10.0.0.154(C432E8R1P5) via SD card or OTG and then follow my video

@@frp The trick is to enter Recovery mode immediately once you've installed the firmware so the DATA partition remains UNTOUCHED. I personally used the same version which was ELE-L29 10.0.0.178(C431E22R2P5). DON'T CLEAR DATA, just boot into emergency backup. Once booted use huawei browser Hope this helps ;)

SHIRO . Mx You can update to Android 10 firmware via SD card/OTG. Download your firmware and then copy it to SD card and update phone

You phone has latest firmware installed. You have to downgrade firmware first and then this method will work.

I managed to go to the Emergency Backup Page, but the "here" hyperlink is not there. It just says "By touching AGREE, you agree to grant the above permissions."

You may have to downgrade your phone's firmware via SD card and eRecovery mode (update via SD card method) and then you follow this video tutorial. It must help.
