Here are all of the improved musical/lyrical references, parralels, and similarities to Infinite’s theme from Sonic Forces in Sonic Frontiers. I’m an Infinite fanboy that listened to “Theme of Infinite” too many times on repeat.

Find your flame and infinite are sung by the same guy (except for the chorus) so I’d expect there to be similarities but there are way more than I expected

I love how Find Your Flame is both the antithesis of Infinite's them while also being a pep talk for tails.

very interesting! although, i do believe "we won't stop until the battle's won" is a more direct reference to Fist Bump's "pushin' on through until the battle's won" rather than Infinite's Theme. On the other hand, different interpretations can be made of the same line, and it's possible that line is a reference to both songs anyway so eh. far be it from me to stomp on someone else's interpretation. plus, it's not like i'm the biggest sonic fanatic or anything like that, so i'm probably missing a lot anyways haha....

I respect this new perspective and different way of seeing things. I’m inclined to agree about the concepts all having different meanings and it more likely being a fist bump reference. In my eyes I find all of these comparisons interesting because of even if some may not be intended whenever I listen to the titans themes I end up hearing parts of infinites theme (granted I’ve listened to that song ever since forces released sooooo) Anyways thank you for your input!

I think they made the lyrics, the rock similar and especially in find your flame having the same singer, I think they made them like that on purpose because not only the songs have similarities but the cyber energy is also similar to the phantom ruby's energy, I think Sega is telling us that the ancients discovered the phantom energy and created the phantom ruby to use it for powering their weapons and the titans, I think cyber energy is also the negative energy of the phantom ruby similar to the emeralds having negative and positive energy, also maybe that's why sonic was in pain and stuck between realities when he got corrupted by cyber energy, because it's a negative phantom energy, the machines such as the titans and sage doesn't get corrupted because they don't have a soul I think.

@@SamuelTheAdept also I just realized if you wonder why infinite only had the ability to dublicate himself, shadow, metal sonic, chaos and zavok only because infinite is turning the memories of his enemies into reality and makes the memories against them, the reason why infinite didn't dublicate mephiles as well is because mephiles was erased out of existance and if infinite can turn memories of his enemies into reality against them then it's similar to cyberspace because cyberspace is based on the visitor's memories and we saw how sonic and eggman in cyberspace keep seeing enemies attacking them as sonic seeing helicopters, robots and more as cyberspace turning memories of the visitor against him, same thing with eggman but eggman didn't encounter his robots because his robots are not against him.

sonic and eggman encountering those helicopters and G.U.N weapons because don't forgwt eggman is the villain we all know so G.U.N will definitely attack him and for sonic it's because G.U.N attacked sonic when they thought sonic was the one who stole the chaos emeralds because of shadow so G.U.N is also against sonic.

All the Titan Boss songs have little nods to Infinite. Man, if only Infinite was the main villain of Frontiers instead of a giant rock we know little about. It also could've been a redemption arc for his character, turning him into an actual stone cold villain.

hope they bring a more serious version of him back with prehaps a backstory before or even slightly after he was defeated by shadow,it was never really said he is not controlled after all,he only searched for a way to gain strength but just imagine he lost his own sanity to get there with the phantom ruby corrupting him,there are quite a lot of possibile fixes

Yep, I’m okay if they retcon his backstory since it was general anyways. He’s built up in his theme and prerelease info to be tragic but they failed, they basically gave him a Z Broly backstory

I think what we've got is fine (Flynn comic doesn't exist) and needed more screen time, just like the rest of the game. Infinite was meant to be Rookie's Shadow and he did this job. Insanity schtick though is something ShTH would be ridiculed for and would be a bit out of place... Just like "duh sonic cycle" in prequel comic.
