I'll give a step by step tutorial: First, paint the whole car either the stock silver or if you know how, paint it Toyota Metalic Silver. Then, use vinyls/decals to cover the top in black. Then use mask shapes to manipulate the shape of the vinyl to be the shape you want.

By the way do think you might cover MF ghost cars in the future?

Trust me, the moment the anime airs I'll start making the cars from MF Ghost. I'm just waiting because obviously the manga hasn't officially been coloured and doesn't shed too much light on specs so I'm waiting for the anime to see the actual car's colours and to try and make a faithful replica based on how each looks and performs in the anime.

I copied the idea from another content creator named ThePurpleguy123 who did it in FH4 before the Trueno was added to the game. They do look just enough like a Levin for it to look ok and with a RWD swap it kinda performs similar.

I can't actually remember how I did it, but I think if you go in forzavista before painting and close the headlights there and then go straight into painting it might work. Keyword being might. Otherwise you may need to just guess where it is.

I used the TCP Magic bodykit for the 1997 RX-7 with the Forza Aero rear wing and then painted the bonnet to be carbon fibre and added decals of the ReAmemiya headlights on top of where the headlights would go. It's not 100% accurate but it's the best I could do without the real bodykit.

I made this video nearly a year before it was added to the game lol. I did go back and make a tune for the SW20 as well, though, for anybody who has it.

What do you mean? There's no Re Amemiya kit in the game and when this video was recorded there was no Rocket Bunny kits, meaning that was the closest bodykit to Keisuke's upgraded FD.

There's no mods here! This is all just using the in-game customisation options.

@@RubyBandit12 whoa kind of unexpected. Now I got to find me a copy of this game well as long as I have the console for it. Because the only consoles I own the PS4 a switch and that's pretty much it for the up-to-date consoles that I own. Maybe one day I'll get a Xbox One with any luck.

It's definitely a worthy investment. Other than Gran Turismo, Forza is basically the only game with almost every car from Initial D and its the only game that allows freeroam with such a wide variety of cars with decent physics.

I know... If only they would add back the Rocket Bunny wing, then it would be a bit more convincing... Anyway, I hope that they do eventually add the Silvia front end as a front bumper for the 180sx.

@Fluk3s I know the Rocket Bunny wing was added back but this video was made way before they added it back and so was this comment. On both the tune (I think) and my personal version of the car I've changed it to the Rocket Bunny wing and if/when I redo this video I'll change it in that video.

Fair point, but the reason I have the CRX as the Levin is because from the front it looks more similar and the general shape is close enough and it's also literally a million times cheaper than a Trueno. Tbh they should just offer a Levin front end swap for the Trueno like in NFS 2015 or just add the Levin into the game, I mean they just added 10 identical cars that no one really asked for so I don't think them adding a different version of a car already in the game that people actually want will be too controversial.

@@RubyBandit12 I definitely agree with a levin body kit, and it would be cool if they added a coupe body kit too to complete the 86 lineup (small flex but I have 4 trueno's, 2 from the festival playlist and 2 from the auction house)

Hey, same! I also have 4, (2 from Festival Playlist and 2 from wheelspins). And yeah, I second that about the 86 Coupe as not even Gran Turismo has the Coupe and I mean, Gran Turismo is very well known for having loads of the exact same car. (GT4 has like 10 different NA MX-5s for goodness sake!)

In truth the suspension and anti-roll bars were the default Forza Race parts just with the ride heights adjusted for some cars because the actual specs weren't available online for those parts and I'm honestly unsure on how to really tune those parts. Some cars (a lot of 1st Stage) used Sport Suspension instead of Race and Itsuki's AE85 used Rally but with basically everything as soft as it can go. Also thanks for this comment and I hope you have fun driving all the cars. (Also, can you maybe give me the share code for Mount Akina because I found one a while back but you're probably using a newer and better one as the one I'm using came out near launch.)

@@polarfox2637 Thanks for the share code! It's a different code to what I had for Akina so I'll try it later. Also I've got that about the Sil80 quite a lot, but my thinking was that when you're playing you see the back of the car and in all reality the only difference between the 180sx and the Sil80 is the front end. I was thinking of doing a Silvia version though and I likely will if/when I redo this video.

The paints aren't available for download as I used decals from other users and can't share them. The tunes however (which are accurate to the show), can be downloaded by equipping the car you want the tune for, then searching in the Creator section of the "Find Tune" button for the Creator "RubyBandit12". In Forza it's a Nissan 240sx SE, but you may know it as the 180sx or 200sx depending on where you are in the world.

Unfortunately in FH5 there is no Sil80, even though in the dev build for FH3 someone managed to make a Sil80 so it's possible just not in the game. If they add the Sil80 to FH5 I'll probably redo this video.

That is the only wing that you can select that still lets you put the cut stickers on the side, so it's the closest wing you can choose to be able to keep one of the most iconic features of that car. If the other wing let me put the stickers on the side I would've went for it.

It's the NB that Takumi races at the start of 5th Stage. All I remember from the race is that the NB's rear wing is damaged during it and because of that it knocks the whole car off balance leading it to spin out near the end and Takumi to win.

None of the cars are tuned specifically to be drifted, they are tuned to be raced on the touge. The most angle they are intended to reach really is slip angle like in the show. With some throttle control, weight shifting and handbrake if you're really struggling though you could likely get most of them to slide a bit, however they are tuned to be mostly accurate to the show. As well as this tbh I made these tunes in an afternoon for my own personal use because I genuinely didn't expect this video to get as big as it did. I literally just used the technical specs available online for power and performance mods but suspension settings and diff settings were never listed so I just went for the default Forza Race parts and sport tyres. If/when I redo this video and the tunes/paints featured in it I'll be sure to take your feedback into consideration and also just improve the quality of the tunes and make them a little easier to slide because tbh you can't hold a drift in them but I think that may be due to the diff settings, however I'm not too sure because I want to make these tunes as accurate as possible to the handling that we see in 4th Stage onwards (because by then they worked out the car physics for the anime) because some cars physically don't have enough power or the gearing to be able to maintain a slide like we see in 1st Stage etc considering other specs mentioned. When I redo the video I'll link it here first and I'll put all share codes in the video (to make them easier to find).

Because I've been thinking about this comment for a while I'll link a video showing how these cars are intended to be driven: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Z5Z2lah0uLDMoWQ.html I do this because I'm unsure on what you mean by you were unable to drift them as if you (using the 1st Stage Trueno as an example) use weight shifting, throttle control and shift lock you can quite easily make it slide, not necessarily hold it but that's expected with 150hp. If you intended to drift it like a Formula Drift car then I'm sorry but you've got the wrong tunes because these cars just aren't that. (Also apologies for any bad driving in the video linked, I was playing on wheel.)

@@RubyBandit12 We tried using shingo shoji's car. As you may know, the drifting techniques from the show are realistic and known, but when we tried to drift like shingo, the car wasn't able to slip at all.

Firstly, thanks for responding. I was honestly praying that you wouldn't just leave a negative comment and dip for good because tbh I want to make sure that everyone has a positive experience with this channel and the tunes associated with it. Formal bits aside, I was assuming it would be a RWD or AWD that you were having difficulty with (trust me, the Lan Evos are very hard to slide and I'm still working on them) but I wasn't expecting an FWD to be causing the problems. In truth I have no memory of how Shingo's Civic handles in game because it's been a while since I last used it, but I feel like I managed to slide it. Just in case though I will test the car tomorrow morning and see if it slides and make appropriate adjustments if necessary. Because in the anime Shingo uses quite a variety of techniques (Left foot braking, Lift-off Oversteer, E-Drifts, weight shifting, etc) which ones did you use to initiate these drifts as I want to simulate this trial run as accurately as possible to how you were driving. Oh and what assists did you have on (auto/manual gears, ABS On/Off, Stability Control On/Off, Traction Control On/Off, Steering Assists On/Off, etc)? Also, did you have any difficulty with/objections with any other tunes as I can also have a look at those if you would like while I'm at it.

Ok, I am currently testing Shingo's Civic as I write this. I can see how the car may be difficult to slide because it requires a rather aggressive driving style and a bit of precision on the brake and throttle, however using controller with no assists except for launch control and normal steering I could slide it with relative ease. The most reliable method of sliding it that I could find was simply lift-off oversteer and some trail braking as well as essentially left foot braking, maybe using E-Drifts half-way through a slide to try sustain it and then only accelerating when in line with or at the apex. The most difficult part is getting the car to rotate, but you can use inertia drifts to do help with that. It cannot pull huge angle on most of the corners but for the most part it slides reasonably well, especially on the Caldera Downhill and the Resevoir Drift Zone. It does require to be driven rather aggressively though in order to slide so maybe that is where you were having problems?

I know, but there is no EG6 in the game so I used the closest car to an EG6 which is in the game, which is an EK9.

I may be reading into this but is this because the 2nd Stage timestamp is technically slightly too early or is this just a personal reference for yourself or something?
