I saw some theories that Visions are basically ways of Celestia keeping people that could easily rebel against them in check, vision wielders are ambitious individuals, and ambition is what led to Khaenri’ah and its citizens creating ruin machines without the need of a god. Celestia was afraid that Khaenri’ah would become too powerful so they destroyed it as a result, the same goes for the many other civilisations that were destroyed by Celestia using the nails, which led to the existence of Dragonspine, Tsurumi Island’s fog, The Chasm and the Sumeru Desert. It’s still unknown if Fontaine has had this happen somewhere, maybe we’ll see in the future. The Visions are theorised to be Celestia’s “eyes” over ambitious people, which would explain the name “Vision”, if one vision wielder or multiple of them plan to go against Celestia, Celestia will already be aware because they can see everything through visions. Then they will simply just yoink the visions of anyone trying to rebel against them and then those people will lose their ambitions, becoming husks of their former selves, as shown in the Inazuma Archon Quest. These vision wielders no longer have ambition to drive them, so they’ll stop rebelling against Celestia. So visions at least in theory, are a countermeasure that Celestia has put in place just in case anybody wants to go against them, and they have disguised them as blessings from the gods by allowing the wielders to have special powers, with these cool abilities nobody would question a vision’s true purpose, as they’d think it’s just recognition from the gods and that they’ve been blessed with a fraction of their abilities as a result.

If i was in genshin impact, i would have the Anemo Visions or Pyro Vision from of Nations of liyue, Mondstadt, Sumeru, Fontaine, Inazuma natlan, Snezhnaya
