To be fair, the Shadow-Shadow Fruit is the only reason that form exists. And Nightmare Luffy has the same weaknesses as Moria. Though I do agree I'd like to see it again at some point, Thriller Bark had an epic final boss fight.

Yeah Oda should've extended that fight so we see more of Nightmare Luffy's abilities like combining sword skills with stretching to do long-ranged stabs and slashes.

Nightmare Luffy didn’t have the same hype for me as Gear 2 did, I guess it lacked hype because of the arc it was in since I really dislike Thriller Bark. The end of the arc was really good though.

man his gear 5 looks so cool. I'm not reading manga so I was really surprised and couldn't believe that this form is real. It's so cool that theres more when someome awakes his devil fruits to go even fruther. nuts. This form has something really badass because it's not like "look I'm buff now" or looks really serious or something but rather on a smiley and chill side, like he doesn't care at all. Small and with a smile but he win the fight anyways. That's what badass is. man I love one piece

@@robloxbrothersplayz4056 Episode? None. Anime isn't there yet. Will be soon tho. Luffy will fly back to Onigashima, Kaido defeat him again cuz of some manipulations by others. Then while he is unconscious he will laugh ( which is written as Nika in Japanese ). Then we'll see it. After he awakens fruit, things go so weird. Literally we could believe what we read in manga at that time. It is just broken.

Great video, Luffy has had plenty of temporary forms. Such as champion Luffy in impel down and his ultra instinct he used against Enel.

Due to the nature of Nika, I like the thought of him being called Joy Boy as well as Straw Hat. When you see him use Gear 5th, he really looks like he's having a lot of fun. Besides, there's most likely more to that form than we already know. In one of the recent chapters, the Gorosei speaks of Luffy's fruit. That it's actually a zoan type and not a paramecia. They called it the Gomu Gomu no Mi just to hide the truth about the fruit. A fruit that had eluded the World Governemnt for a long time. The Hito Hito no Mi Model: Nika. Maybe it'll be his last gear, and he'll end up mastering his arsenal of haki and Ryuo (technically they're the same. Like Hyogoro said, the outside world calls it haki, but in Wano it's called Ryuo). I really hope we get to see the full potential of Nika in the future, because that one time we've seen it, it just feels like a tiny fragment of that power. Only Oda can tell us that once the time is right.

He’s definitely gonna make his Haki stronger and learn to use Gear 5th so he can clash with Shanks and Black Beard equally. We know Gear 5th cant beat Kaido alone since the fight had been going on for a while but in the future he almost definitely will.

@@OmegaQuinn Yeah. I thik the final war wil bee Blackbeeard, but the final "boss" will be Shanks. At the end of the Wano arc, Shanks say "Hey Beckman. Let's go claim it. The One Piece." There's something about Shanks that I can't fully understand. He's a good man, but at the same time, I just get a feeling of dread. There's something about Shanks that hee doesn't want anyonee to find out. It also still doesn't explain why he was with the Gorosei to speak about a "certain pirate". There's so much that doesn't add up.

1:05 Goru Goru No Mi is a completely different fruit. Goru Goru No Mi is the gold fruit which is a paramecia fruit which allows the user to telekinetically control gold. I think that the fruit that you’re looking for is actually the Goro Goro No Mi which is the thunder fruit which Enel wields which is a Logia which allows the user to become, produce, and manipulate electricity specifically, lightning and/or thunder. Edit: Sorry if this is nerd or like pointless lol. I was thinking I’d encounter replies like that while looking back on this comment. I just wanted to make a point that I don’t really like how a bunch of fruits sound the same so it confuses some people. Such as, Goru, Gura, Goro etc. So, I’m sorry if I made it too serious or anything, as I didn’t mean to sound like a nerd. Sorry.

I always knew luffy's devil fruit couldn't be as simple as rubber and that is confirmed truth. But this got me thinking about what other ideas I have that might come through or close to something that happened and one of the biggest theories I had was that Marshall D. Teach is not the a villain but he knows something very important about the world and choose the villain route to prepare for it

Luffy is the prophesized reincarnation of a god. The _Model: Nika_ devil fruit sought Luffy out specifically because he is that reincarnation. "Im" is probably a god, too, and Luffy will have to face it near the end of the series.

Chances are the final boss will be the man behind the Celestial Dragons in Mariejois. Remember we're only halfway done with the series and barely through the New World. Not to mention Luffy still has to give Sakazuki his revenge beatdown for Ace, and Blackbeard - he captured Ace to become one of the Seven Warlords, remember? And that's not counting the rest of the Marines that Luffy will most likely have to run into again at some point.

I though the fire from his red hawk attack would come from his devil fruit, because he was fighting for aces devil fruit and his fruit actually being the mythical zoan human human type Nika, he could transform his attack into anything he could imagine and as I said he was (I think) imagining Ace. I would like too say gomu gomu no mi (Luffys fruit) Sucks, let me explain The gomu gomu no mi was terrible when it came to fighting but Luffy having it for 10 years+ mad him mastery which shows that any devil fruit Sucks if you make it suck, since Luffy is so creative he was able to figure out about Gear 1-4 when normal people could probably never gain Luffys power with the gomu gomu no mi.

i really hope the fight vs the red hair pirates is another davy back fight at raftel for the one piece. it would fit the crews attitudes, they could have things like a sniper competition between usopp and yasopp, a race between sanji and lucky roo, etc. and the final sparring match between captains would be epic without needing to twist the characters at all to explain why they would fight each other. also "Gear Forzuuuu...AFROMAN!"

Fun fact: a lot of body builders dehydrate themselves before a show, which gives them that taut shiny look they have. This is probably what's happening to Luffy is Gear 2, his body is so hot that not only is he evaporating the sweat as soon as it forms but it's also doing it at such a fast rate that he's probably severely dehydrated (which would explain that shiny look he's got), in addition to speeding up his metabolism.
