I'm so pleased to see that someone finally got it. I started testing a device a bit like this in 1983, But always ran into funding issues. That said, I've moved on to solid state generation since that time. I truly wish you great success, every type of generation device is needed to help humankind and our planet.

I want to say thank you for all the information you've shared over the years. I've built quite a few magnetic devices myself, none of which function as well as yours do. However, I have had some success in accomplishing my goals. I have come to the same conclusion regarding the v gate, after many hours of experimentation. It's junk. I've had the most success with pulse motors. Plus, I'd be lying if I said it isn't a ton of fun! My ultimate goal is to create a self charging system that can power my home (by recharging my battery bank) in the event of an extended power outage. I'm not trying to change the world, just to take care of my family in any and all circumstances. Your videos have helped me make great strides toward that goal, so again, thank you, and God bless!

The explanation is simple, the same force that is pushing it forward is pushing out in all directions. So as it is spinning it loses momentum from being pushed back. The silicone jacket is not necessarily what makes the wire flexible, most silicone wire is ultra-fine stranded and rated for continuous flexing. Stranding has the biggest impact on flexability.

When two equal sized capacitors are connected in series, their combined capacitance is half, so 2.7V @ 500F x2series = 5.4V @250F. 3 in series is 1/Ct=1/C1 + 1/C2 + 1/C3. and so on.

Well done Mike ! If this is a normal electromagnet, the incoming magnet will induce voltage so you need more current for the push away from it. You can totally reduce this, if you take 2 toroidal coils 180 degrees out of phase and in series as the electromagnet... Like in an Orbo motor. This way you will have no induction into the coil of the magnet, when the magnet runs by and this will very much reduce the input power into the "Electromagnet" then... Your new 16 Volts Supercaps device is just awesome by the way..well done ! Regards, Stefan.

Sir, voltage by itself is irrelevant. We must know the current supplied by the battery and the current utilized by the led to summize the actual power generated and used. You could easily have a 3 phase generator on this machine which develops 1000 volts, with the pulsed 6 volt signal on the front end. It would sound much more dramatic in explanation but, it all boils down to power or wattage (- losses)which remain constant. What is your power consumption and power generation, please!

i came to the same conclusion, you can not extract energy from a static field alone there has to be a tension (potential difference) and a regulator. 17:19 you could use the back EMF to first charge a capacitor and then drive a scond impulse coil to reinsert the energy (maybe accross on the right side so on the way downwards the wheel is accelereated too)

Thing is, every magnet is battery of magnetic force, so it's not so much a motor, it really is magnetic->electric energy generator. I think those have some future becouse some magnets have high energy density and they could be used in EVs, but this kind of generators should be optimised and than compared to currently used batteries. Maybe this is the solution to current el. energy storage demand.

Connecting a load to the 3-phase output while ANY battery or capacitor module is micro-pulsing the electromagnet is always successful. The ONLY job the input has, is to bridge the tiny 4% gap between the beginning and end point of the stator. The rotor/stator interaction provides all of the torque. Super simple!

What if you pulsed the electromagnet on the side where the magnet is falling. If the electromagnet was on the right side of the stator the mass of the inner magnet would help propell it passed the gap, eliminating the need for a flywheel. Just an idea?

Materials: 12 guage magnet wire 650 feet, a reed switch, Four 2 feet long bolts with 24 washers 24 nuts, 4 clear plexiglass squares 1.5 feet sq. , One half inch thick plywood board 2.5 feet long by 2 feet wide , Six flat neodymium magnets 3/16 thick One inch Diameter round , Two Flat neodymium magnets 3/16 inch thick by 1/2 inch long , Make 8 coils and use 81 feet of wire per coil and have NO IRON CORES , One round neodymium magnet with 3/16 inch hole in center one inch in Diameter by one inch long , Two battery cables , One iron flywheel 1/8 inch thick one foot Diameter with a 3/16 inch thick Diameter axle in center and has 8 different places around disc where magnets go on one side of disc , 8 holes placed in plexiglass for coils to rest in,, in a circle with a 1 1/2 inch hole in center, 4 holes in corners of all the plexiglass so large bolts can go here to hold generator together, two small magnets glued on to the axle on both sides of flywheel, , Two pieces of plywood board 1/2 inch thick by 6 inches wide by 1.5 Feet tall with 3 neodymium magnets placed in a triangle on top of board and the bottom of board is screwed and glued to plywood base,,, Basically the 3 magnets on each side holds up the axle and allows it to spin free with no resistance while spinning the flywheel that has magnets on. A plexiglass stator full of coils is placed next to rotating magnet rotor producing electricity. A SEPARATE round magnet on the axle with two smaller coils next to it and a reed switch controls when the 6 volts goes into coils ,,, it is A motor basically and spins the axle very fast ..The motor is NOT connected to the larger coils but to a battery OR A solar panel. The large coils connect to a 12 volt 5,000 watt inverter 12.8 volts input into it from the coils of generator. IT WILL continuously run until some part fails. Have fun and you can run whatever you want on the inverter whatever the inverter will let you. OH by the way the large coils are connected outer wire of first coil connected to outer wire of next coil to inner of 2nd coil to inner wire of third coil and so on.

in the early 1990s.. 92 93,, inland motors came up with a 23" square cased motor with an 8" overall shaft length for electric trucks and buses. direct drive.. 1,000 foot pounds of torque from 0 to 3600 rpm.. and it was like 360 Horsepower. i always wanted 4 of those.. 2 to install between my friends marine transmission and his prop shaft.. so the transmission could be shifted to neutral.. either one or both electric motors on each shaft to drive the props.. or to assist the engine at high speeds.. shaft rotation was about 600 at 20 knots.. previous engines in his boat had a prop shaft rotation of about 1800 RPMs.. previous engines made 3 times the horsepower..

I notice you never mention that this device is overunity, however it seems to be implied, or else what is the point of this thing? If you say you are able to run the 3P back to the supply power, why don't you? It won't need batteries at all then, just a hand start to start it making power and it should run by itself. if that is in fact not possible, then why wouldn't you connect two of these devices together with a common drive shaft, electrically isolated other than one device outputs to the input of the other. the two devices could then power eachother, again, only needing a hand crank to get started.

Just a friendly suggestion... You should check out the Gap motor method where they use electrical coils to neutralize magnetic attraction. I can see how this might reduce the lock point Behavior and increase acceleration into the electromagnet area beyond what iron can produce. You would basically have two Reed switches one of which you already have and the other Reed switch would activate the neutralizing Coil. The Gap motor basically uses the inverse principle of what you are using. One great benefit to the Gap motor method is that much less electricity is required to neutralize a magnet than to energize an electromagnet for attraction or repulsion. In your device you could attract with a regular magnet with neutralizing coils and then repulsed with the electromagnet like you are already doing. Use The Gap motor method as the rotor magnet tries to leave the attraction lock point. Rather than using an iron sheath around your core that is always attracting the magnet you could use a magnet that is neutralized at a certain point. Attract with a magnet rather than iron and at or just before dead center neutralize that magnet and when the rotor magnet passes just beyond dead center of the electromagnet that repulses the electromagnet is activated accelerating the rotor magnet away. This would create two very strong acceleration phases with minimal electricity.

So you mean he doesnt need a magnet in the center and just uses em coils(electromagnets are always coils because thats how you make subatomic particles spin in a direction) to negate the effect of the rotor's em field?

Hello, very nice setup and video. Thanks for sharing. This gave me an idea and I want to ask your advice. You use an electromagnet to pass the sticky point of the stator. Instead of using an electromagnet, shall I attach a DC i.e 12V motor directly to the main rotor shaft? When the rotating magnet arrives to the sticky point, the reed switch or the timing microswitch will trigger the motor for a very very short duration of time. It will be in the ON position for only a few miliseconds and then becomes OFF for a larger duration. Also, instead of using one rotating magnet, dual rotating magnets can be placed with 180 degrees offset on the rotor plate. This time the DC motor will be triggered twice per revolution on the other hand you will have more torque. Best Regards

Can you measure current going into the electromagnet at that 6V source and the current coming out of the generator at the back? That'll give some indication of how much gain your magnets are giving you. Also, with a small dc-dc converter you can step the voltage down from the generator and pump it into a capacitor to replace the 6V battery bank. Those things can be pretty efficient. Also, now I'm further in the video. You say you can't put the back-emf back into the batteries? Why not? Can't you just put a diode rectifier on the switched side of the electromagnet back to the battery?

That is nicely engineered and crafted. I am a bit confused and have a few questions: - Is the torque solely depending on the weight of the flywheel? So you have torque only after a long period of acceleration? - Can it do any work in terms of watts? Torque is usually current related. - You have 6 volt input and a led is usually 2 volts/20mA. So if you have a load of 3 leds (it seems like 3 leds; 6V/60mA) in there you are just intermediating with the motor without any gains.
@PMMG4HYBRID
@PMMG4HYBRID 4 жыл бұрын
The torque comes from the rotor magnet and stator magnets only. The electromagnet regauges the torque cycle only. The LED light is 12V @ 100mA and has a circuit on the back that allows it to operate on DC or AC.

Normally we measure incoming power and outgoing power to measure the efficiency of the system. You presented only 1/2 of the required data (Voltage). This is not enough to make a conclusion of your system efficiency. You need measure input V*A and output load V*A.

I think he intentionally skipped that from demonstration knowing that output is less than the input.

Awesome machine. Could you use another magnet affixed to a light weight rod,/crank//jackshaft to the output shaft or flywheel weight timed to approach / retreat the motor magnet with the opposite pole to provide that little push/ repulse needed to get past the electro magnet ? Or would that be force cancelled by the load,

It's in a way kind of looking at Pascal's law of hydraulics but knowing those particular points in the function of that law putting ninodinium magnets in the correct positioning to create a field that is able to do the work with low speed and very high torque

So, it’s a rotary phase converter? Also consider using a freewheel diode, and I’m pretty sure a normal low-voltage N-channel MOSFET would be better than an SSR. SSRs are really only viable when you have AC, or maybe if you really need isolation.

This is interesting. I wonder to myself what the relative results would be without the magnetic track but I'd think it would require more driving coils to keep it going at the same speed under load. So with only the single power pulse right now and the track providing the motive force the rest of the time building upon momentum, it's got to at least be putting out extremely similar power per pulse to what it's consuming in the load over time. With this load for example I picture a quick 6v battery pulse into a capacitor and getting the same led load to blink the same frequency and duty cycle solid state for just over a second or so with that amount of charge. I can see that, but not driving the rotor along with it.

So if you can't close the loop why not build two of these motors and use the power generated from one motor to power the electro mag of the other motor and vice versa.

The wheel is in the vertical plane. Would it make a difference if horizontal? What would happen if you added two more electro-magnets so that all three are 60-degrees apart? Thank you for posting/sharing all of this great tech info.

In the beginning, the machine was horizontal. A heavy balanced vertical plane generated less friction on the ceramic bearings. I tried more electromagnets and rotor magnets only to find them superfluous. 96% permanent magnetic rotation using 1 rotor magnet requires a micro pulse from one electromagnet per revolution while the 3-phase provides continuous output. New video coming.

Why don't you do it (=your motor) upside down, to beat that repulsion point using the rotor_magnet's fall? E.g. So the electromagnet is on the right_side (at 0 degrees=3 o'clock), instead of left_side (at 180 degrees=9 o'clock). Try varying the electromagnet's angle (wrt the stator). Rotate the motor (stator) to different (static) angles, for finding the optimal (advantage of the) electromagnet's angle (position).
@Komiyan.

No effect; the rotor is balanced, so the stator could be oriented in any way, and the motor's operation would be equal...

Gravity only works if it's out of balance. Out of balance doesn't work for high rotational speed.

How about this for an idea. One set of coils to generate the electricity for the alternate set of electromagnets with some form of timing mechanism? Just a thought.
We use magnets as pistons - what will happen?
