Ogres my lord

Personally would love to see the Gnoblar list. That issue of White Dwarf is my all time favourite. Gnoblar lore is so fun, their sports, their relationship to Ogres, especially the ones claimed by Ogres, Tooth Gnoblars become mini butchers or Torch Gnoblars that serve Lead Beltchers learn how Gunpowder works is great.

Jhared the Red is also a possibility, as he is the first ogre hunter and even spent his first few hours of life snow, before being adopted by Sabretusks. Unfortunately that happened over a millennia ago, and ogres in the setting only appear to have a human level lifespan, but they could pull the cryogenically frozen trope to bring him in and associate him more with the missing units.

If you look at the 6th edition army book under Ogre Tribes there are a few more nameed Legendary Lords. Even though they never gave them specific stats. E.G... SHREWD FULG - a hunchbacked and grizzled Tyrent, although far from the strongest of his peers, is as cunning and evil as a serpent. He rules the lands to the north west of the mountains of mourn. Any Ogre that crosses him is either fed to the monsters in his menagerie or turned into a rat Ogre as he has strong ties to clan Moulder. GHUTH SPAWNCHOMPER - rules a tribe far to the north. He has developed a taste for fried spawn tentacles. This diet has caused him to mutate a a crown like frill of gesticulating fingers along his forehead. He has also started to bring in Dragon Ogres into his tribe. BLAUT FEASTMASTER - a heavy jowled Tyrent who captured a string of halflings in his travels. Took them back with him and now has them fill the Gnoblar roles in his tribe, and is subsequently able to put on the finest quality feasts of any Ogre tribe. GRANDFATHER MALRON EYEBIGHTER - rumored to have sired almost all of the members of his tribe. Rules the Badlands waypost of the sentinels. They have long standing deals with the empire and their caravans. BALUDIG MOUNTAINEATER - rules a tribe up in highest peaks of the mountains of mourn. when he was climbing Mount Thug he found a fissure and went inside. There he battled a great stone skinned warrior, and ate him. Baludigs skin now looks like lichen coverd stone. GROTH ONEFINGER - leads the tribe closest to the great maw. He is known as the first profet of the Great Maw. Having lost hair and teeth to the debilitating energies given off by the great maw he and his tribe have had to hammer rocks into their mouths in place of teeth. The tribe has no Tyrent as they believe the maw is there Tyrent. Note, this isn't to say they'll use these. But CA have used less to create more in the past. These pluss the others mentioned will more than enough to take Ogres up to 6 Legendary Lords like most other races.

I hope we get Ghark Ironskin, I want to see a one on one of Ghark with the Iron Rhinox vs Tamurkhan on Bubebolos

They've already dropped an incredibly subtle hint we will get Chaos Dwarves. In those new Dwarven settlements they added that are controlled by vampires and skaven, do a siege battle there at the capital. The dwarf statues in the background were changed to look different from normal dwarf statues. Note the spiked beards.

Since Braugh has this interesting theme of necromancy and mercantilism, I thought he could be a Vampire Coast Lord. That faction will have difficulty fitting into Game 3 because there’s so little ocean. So Braugh could be a Lord that can fit in by treating his caravan/ogre camp like a ship.

Love the idea of Maneaters having a mechanic like the creature lab.

Bruisers will likely be FLC for Total War Access. like the glade captain was for Wood Elves for example.

I would be excited to see glogfag man eater and Bragg the gutsman coming to the roster. I know blood vultures are supposed to be pets for hunters but it'd be cool if they were a sort of small monstrous flying unit that had a small unit of them but quite large and imposing enough to be quite the terror on the battlefield.

I think it would be nice if we got thunder tusk as strong as a mamoth + some ninja ogres because we know they travel the world and copy others

Yetis looks pretty sick. Also yes please make a video on the gnoblar list. Having a Gnoblar LL (if such a thing even can exist) would be pretty funny.

ghark ironskin i think would be a great lord for the next dlc along with brusiers, yetties, thundertusks and have bragg the gutman as a hero that sounds like a solid dlc to me, also those vultures you sometimes see on hunters are blood vultures and i think it would be a good unit for the ogres tp have something cheap and flying to tie up ranged troops. also how big would you say thundertusks are? bigger then stonehorns

Braug would be the most interesting, but he would also be the most difficult. I find Golgfag and Bragg more likely because of their army book presence.

Would be cool if we got a Sky castles units dlc. Yhettees, Thundertusk, Gnoblar Knight s or maybe some other obscure Gnoblar, and a new hero Abominable Snowbelly / Blizzardgut / (insert cool GW style name referencing Bigfoot). As a lore of tempest caster since law of Ice is unique to Kislev.

CA seems to get to the standard of about 7 legendary lords per faction. Due to the nature of Ogres, each that isn't Skragg and Greasus could be a hybrid lord which would help a lot with infantry chaf support and help with early game economical stability outside of homeland starting positions. I would go to the extent to say that an ogre hybrid lord would acompany new races added to the game. Drulg Kineater might work as another extra lord. The guy is known for going against his own and thus I think he would be the one to still go to Cathay for work. Not that he would access to the ancient and dragon-sponsored units but the guns alone would make his faction extremely intresting. He is just a random ogre from the lore but I think reusing him is better than cylostra fanfiction 2.

The undead / ogre hybrid faction and character sounds very interesting. Also it seems more evil / destruction associated rather than just the typical Ogre "don't care about morals" attitude. The model for gutripper looks fantastic.

Some new Tyrant variants would be a nice touch. A Hunter-Tyrant could be similar to a dark elf beast master. A lord that buffs monsters and war hound units while also being able to ride on Stonehorns/Thundertusks. Maybe they could add a Maneater-Tyrant that is ranged-based with a cannon.

I know it wasn't an official unit but maybe like a Hunter style unit with javelins that is anti large or even harpoon launchers and possible ensnare aura or ability. Just gives more range options instead of just pistols and leadbelchers

Remember that this is a preorder DLC faction which always had 2 LLs to begin. Must be because preorder DLCs have smaller budgets than regular race packs

Braugh Slavelord sounds like an awesome addition. Hybrid faction that can recruit skeleton/zombie units.

I could see Golgfag as a mercenary hero available to different faction through orge camps. He started as a regiments of renown unit after all.

I'm still hoping for Chaos Dwarfs and Hobgobbla Khan.

jhared the red as a FLC would be cool. he would ofcourse need to be fleshed out more. he could buff sabertusks and other beasts which are already in game, so shouldn't be too hard

I think I remember there being an Ogre Hunter special character? I heard about it in a video by either ItalianSparticus or MilkandCookiesTW. Sounded like an interesting character. I think they mentioned him being a legendary hero, but could make for a neat legendary lord, and would probably make sense with some of the units you mentioned are missing. It would be a perfect, thematic DLC. Also, think Maneater and (bloody hell, forgot his name already. Guy you mentioned with the Mechanic Rhinox) should also definetly be both added. But as you said with the latter, I think both should be FLC (unless they decided to add a bunch of Maneater related stuff, then could see an argument for the former to have a DLC) with the later being Chaos Dwarf FLC, and the former perhaps being tied to a Dog's of War DLC if we ever finally get that.

Ghark Ironskin to me, if he is a Legendary Lord would be great for a Calvary Lord, buffing up his Calvary and getting some unique Calvary units. Golgfag to me feels like he would work well as a “Semi-Hoard” or “Hoard” Faction where he wanders around the Map, doing contracts with people, perhaps having buffs based on what faction he got the contract from. Gnoblar Units really need to be added, even if it’s just no names though they also need some deviation from the Goblin Units Bragg the Gutsman if they give him something based on his lore, he might be a hero that is only temporary in a Lords Army before you have to pay a high fee (like 100 meat or 5000 gold) and if you refuse, you might have an injured lord and Bragg can’t be put in a army for a set amount of turns)

I do believe that they either will bring a DLC that focuses on FrostbOgre Ynits in which would either include a new Ogre Hunter Legendary Lord (perhaps a type of Maneater that learned both hunt and frost magic from Kislev) or an Ogre/Monster Hybrid who focuses on the lore of beast and ice. The other DLC will most likely be about Ogres vs Dwarfs, which no doubt would include Maneater himself vs a Slayer Hero of the Dwarfs. This would be the opportunity CA needs to finish the Dwar roster as all missing units that remain of the Dwarfs is Slayer centered, no to mention Golgfag Maneater has story with the Slayers, and this would introduce new types of Maneaters (some for general gameplay and others being campaign specific), perhaps even introduce some missing Gnoblar units. As for the other Heroes they would most likely be FLC aligned with the ogres or be Mercenary type of Lords folk can recruit in the campaign.

That mechanical mount really conquer my hearth!!!

Something I think CA should implement would be "Gut Bus" units. Most of the Ogre games I saw played on the table revolved around one overly large unit, essentially a hoard, of Ogre Bulls or Ironguts to take advantage of the army's charge mechanic with smaller units flanking to both provide support and extend the battle line. CA could easily make a couple of different units that have 2-3 times the number of Ogre models in them, give those units a hefty charge/attack bonus, and then balance them out by giving said units a build cap of one and high upkeep costs.

I hate the thundertusk model, because it's basically a mammoth without a trunk - it is designed to starve to death, staring at food over its own tusks.

Really curious on how dlc will work with game 3 they haven't really said anything on that front have they? Like are they going to focus on a game 3 race each time or is it open to anything? I mean we know chaos dwarfs are coming but outside of that be nice to know if they going to focus on anything. Be nice to get couple of the game 1 races some new toys and updates.

You forgot to mention Blood Vultures. The lore goes as follows: "The Blood Vulture is a large, predatory bird that lives high in the Mountains of Mourn. Although primarily scavengers, blood vultures have no qualms about attacking living creatures, swooping and slashing at their victims with their sharp claws and powerful beaks. Ogre Hunters capture and tame blood vultures, and use them to hunt down prey or attack their foes in battle."

They have enough for maybe one DLC but that's gonna be kind of a stretch. Most likely we just get some of those Lord's as FLC down the line and possibly the Brusier as a Total War Access Thing

Been two years and Ogre Kingdoms are still desperately lacking in terms of unit variety as well as lord choices. I fear Ogres are going to be another faction like Norsca, forgotten by CA.

This time it really feels like CA intentionally left out yhetees and thundertusks just to sell them later as DLC, ogres could have easily been a 4LL campaign pack and make them complete from the beggining.

I'm kinda confused about why you were surprised that Ogres only got 2 legendary Lords. I'm surprised that they got 2 instead of just 1 (happily surprised, of course), considering 4 of the seven new base game factions, that we know of (not counting ogres since they're a preorder faction) only starts with 1, and Cathy and Kislev only get 2 and assuming Belekor will be the only legendary Lord.
