I love lawbringer as fuck pre rework and rework But its just sad how his rework made him worst than he already was I mean pre rework he was a parry monster with poor offense and nothing irreactable After the rework he as lost thr "parry monster" tittle and he dosen't have irreactable move either .. so against good player he is worst But against casual matchmaking hr is a real beast ❤❤ Sorry for my english btw And i love you sol❤❤❤❤ keep it up man ❤❤

Everytime I've dodged Shaolin's blink has been out of pure luck, and I believe is dodging right before he uses the feat. At the very least, exactly when he uses it. It's some reallt braindead design honestly 😂

I still really enjoy lawbringer but my problem with the rework is that it didn’t address a lot of his issues, notable, the lack of a roll catcher. The hyper armour is nice but its not what he needed.

He 100% needed HA since prior to his rework pretty much every character had some form of HA and you can do the basic argument how zerk is wearing just cloth gets infinite HA and lb is a full tank compared, there’s that argument but the rework def didn’t tick all of his boxes that he needed

you know what my main problem with lb now ? its the fact that he is a parry specialist but parring heavies guarantees a light like what the actual fuck ? btw almost every hero in the game can top heavy when parring a light attack

I find dodge attacking as soon as I see the Shaolin move to be somewhat consistent for dodging blink

I was one of the haters (and still kinda am?). But I've come to get used to the new Lawbringer and I've been having great matches lately. I do miss his high damage heavies and his light riposte blind and the impale on heavies. But you can come up with some uses of the light parry impale, and once you start your chain, it can be pretty fun.

Theres alot of new things i like about it like zone chain starter with reduced stamina cost, and the tap on every neutral heavy which is satisfying, but would have liked his feintable bash back of which they invested time and money into.

@notSolidSol yeah, his feintable bash was a good idea. I'm not sure why they removed it. His bash is so bad. Especially his opener bash.

How to dodge SHAOLIN KICK: To dodge the teleport kick on reaction, you have to wait a little bit before he teleports then do a max delayed dodge attack after he teleports. Another way is to dodge backwards. For whatever reason, the back dodge makes the shaolin bounce off and the timing is very generous so doing it earlier is better, DO NOT WAIT. If you are playing with someone that has low i frames on dodge attack, stick with the back dodge method. If you are having trouble figuring out the timing, just keep spamming back dodge when you think a shaolin wants to kick you. It will most likely bounce him

I know sol tested the dodge attack method and it wasnt working but im able to do it with shaolin's and aramusha's dodge attack consistently so i know its 100% possible

Idk about other people but at least for me in order to dodge shaolin tier 2 you need to expect it and dodge pretty early as soon as you see movement. I feel like you didn’t dodge early enough in your clips 😅

How to dodge Shaolin feat: Step 1 - Play Warmonger Step 2 - Dodge heavy with extended dodge property Step 3 - Murder Step 4 - :) In all seriousness, I think you can mostly dodge the feat when you dodge before he has fully disappeared...

It really feels like the team just said “fuck it” and decided to scrap everything and give him better pressure and HA. The feintable bash, gone. No roll catcher still. No opener. I like some parts of it, but it really feels like they dropped the ball and decided to go with the easiest option

9:21 So, I've had a match a few days ago where I duo queued with a friend who played Shaolin and I observed him fighting a Kensei and the Kensei managed to dodge his ability twice in the match at different scenarios. One of them was on B in between all minions and one was on point A with just an open space and no structures or people nearby. I've tried to recreate this ever since, because I was super confused and wanted to learn that myself but I couldn't figure it out when playing Hitokiri. Is it perhaps not quite intended and only specific characters who can dodge larger amounts or in a specific direction (perhaps Nobushi's dodge attack) that can perform that? Maybe this could be figured out with tools to dodge on specific frames but at that point it's too much work and doesn't seem to be very recreatable in a realistic scenario with the heroes I tried it with.

@@soulayrif you are playing someone who doesnt have a lot of i frames then stick with the back dodge method, it doesnt allow you to punish him but at least you can dodge it.

I have 70 reps on shao, from what i can tell the hidden stance is the same as back dodge. You have to do it as soon as you see him activate the feat, dont delay it at all. Only delay it if you are trying to dodge attack method
