how did you make the springey mod?

@@s-rok I used a smaller body to connect the body with the caps, put two spings between them and then used small screws to make sure that the caps wouldnt fly off. But I think it wasn't very smooth nor very springy,there have to be better ways

Colorgel mx is good if you like SCs. For DCs my favourite right now is factis ikusafude. I think its not in the video, but it's an ikusafude(menowa emboss) with factis barrel, which has more grip. I used french dr grip tips which are lighter (my fingers are a bit weak...) but regular dr grip tips will be good for most people!

5 are a lot of mods already! I just have too many haha

If it serves you to get better at pen spinning then that's a great collection already!

Good mods. As long as you buy from reputable sellers (not penstock) it's fine 👍

Yeah I connected two barrels to make it as long as marvy (the connection isn't very good though... a bit hard to make)

Just make all parts a bit shorter. Don't forget to make the caps shorter as well otherwise it spins very bad!!

Marvy marker is a rare pen, it is sold secondhand in Japan and it can be a bit expensive. While it's not the same, a Rushon mod spins similarly and is much cheaper.

What mod did you buy?

@@ashlynnoce2135 Don't buy new batteries, pens with lights are not very good for pen spinning (see how in my video none have lights) I recommend you to buy some pens from webs like penwish, pensfactory or spinstudio. You can also find more pen spinning advice in reddit (r/penspinning) Amazon doesn't have many good mods. I recommend you to buy one first that can arrive fast so then you can choose one that fits what spinning you want to do. Ivan emboss or any of nope's mods are good first choices imo

@@delchevosu626 one of the great things about penspinning is that the mods you don't really have to buy them, you can make them yourself and that's also very entertaining. Its also a way to get mods that perfectly fit your tastes. Your two choices are good but it seems like you love mods so maybe try modding some pens by yourself next time! There are tons of tutorials out there and also many people who will help you on discord

@@RPD_ps Yeah, Ive considered modding in the future, I just want to get some taste before I do, and thats why Im getting waterfall with ivan to see if I prefer a heavier or lighter mod. I think I'll end up with a mod in the middle once I do something by myself tho and thanks for the help :))

Those are very old mods, they are not bad but there are better mods nowadays. You can search for ivan emboss or ZW-1001. Pensfactory seems to be out of stock, check out spinworlds

Not really, but I didn't finish making it. It was still a project when I shot the video and I never got good ideas to make it of a nice weight and balance.

Not the biggest SC fan, but colorgel mx is nice. Most balanced and not too heavy g3 mods are cool too. Seven is good, I want to make itezy sometime.

@@uberseptim111 Energel ST is good and cheap. Longer mods are better for serious practice, although shorter mods like buster also work.
