The "North East Australian Football League" was a footy league in the 2010's that combined teams from New South Wales, Queensland, the Australian Capital Territory and the Northern Territory all together in one competition.
The league was ceased in 2020 after when the Covid-19 pandemic started when the 2020 season was about to launch. Later till August that year, it was announced that the NEAFL would be amalgamated into the VFL from 2021 and onwards. 5 teams are currently in there while all other teams went back into the QAFL, AFL Sydney & AFL Canberra. NT Thunder was disbanded in 2019.
