Priced at RM248,888, Sime Darby Auto Connection (SDAC) has officially launched the all-new Ford Ranger Raptor 4x4 2-litre Bi-Turbo DIESEL folks! Churning out a respectable 210Ps and a very healthy 500Nm of torque, power is transferred to the wheels via a 10-speed eGearbox.
As with its bigger brother the Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6 Petrol, this new diesel variant also comes with the much-touted Fox Suspension & BAJA Mode as well as all the bells and whistles that's made the Raptor one of the most lusted after "urban-jungle" pick-up trucks in the country.
My buddy Mick asked me just now, would I choose this diesel variant over the V6 petrol, and I said yes right away; first off it's a bona-fide Raptor but cheaper by about rm20k, sips less fuel, and since I like long-distance drives into Thailand - #1 pick-up truck capital of the world (per capita) - it's a no-brainer for me.
