The support of the Chinese auto industry also supports the Chinese government. As long as that government continues its repression of its people, including a denial of basic democratic and human rights, I will not consider buying these cars or other products.

While vast majorities of us living in China feel the freedom (especially economic) we enjoy today was unimaginable before. Quite honestly, we all know well how your "democracy" works (vote is the only thing matters), and thank GOD, China didn't adopt the same system. Learn to respect the differences. What you think is suitable for your country might not necessarily is for the other.
