call me a philistine...but apart from android auto being new, and a touch screen(dangerous in my opinion) the last of the 2023 is superb.. i have the homura...its awesome...44 to the gallon at the moment, and i dont drive like a granny..! best car ive ever driven!..and its a decent list of prestige cars..lambos, fiats, sorry ferrari,aston, and neesan, or nissan if in uk..

From what I have seen and talked to my dealer, the next gen Miata may not be until 2025. That being said, it looks like it will still be relatively the same "shark" look but with softer lines and rounded rear. Sorta reminds me of the older Z4's in the rear. JMO

I own an MX5. NOWHERE ANYWHERE on my car will anyone find the word "Miata." It is not on the body of the car. It isn't written in the owner's manual or any other printed material. The name of the car is the MX5. In this video the word Miata is used so many times it gets annoying. And it isn't even the proper name of the car. Do better.

Have you read anything about the ND or driven one? The exterior is smaller than the previous model, while the interior has more space! It only weighs about 100 lbs. more than the NA. Brilliant Mazda engineers . . .

Seldom have I seen a worse video than this one. The narrative is totally detached from the visual aspect. When describing the roof retracting mechanism, the video shows the wheels and tires; when the interior is described, anything but is shown, and so on. Are you into drugs?

NC is the best looking ever if you lower it 1.5"-2". They also never should have ditched the full PRHT. It was the best full convertible system ever devised. 10 years on my '13, no leaks, no creeks, no problems. Why ditch perfection in that area? Also, looking at ALL the series of Miata's, they ALL sit to tall. Lowering kits and coilovers are bought by the majority of Miata owners for a reason, and not all of them for "racing". If Mazda just sold a mildly revamped NC with 20-30 more HP and a "hardcore" street (medium trackable) suspension as base, the car would really take off again. They'd lose a few women and older drivers, but their core BASE customer would be ecstatic.

The Miata has historically been a DRIVER'S car with nothing between the driver and the car, however, it has recently been becoming too techy (too many electronic features that interfere with the driver's interaction with the car). The only exterior flaw is those gaudy Euro license plates. Do they REALLY need to be that large??

Sentimentality towards the first generation is understandable. But the ND is superior in every conceivable way. It's still the best drivers car out there, but it's also better looking, more comfortable, safer, more dynamic, and faster, with better gas mileage as well.

Terrible vid as well as a terrible car. When it rains the car fills up with water, but they say it’s your fault for not keeping the drains cleaned out. Drains, didn’t know what had bought a bathtub on wheels. I’ll pass on all Mazda products after my experiences owning them.
