I have a Turbo S with a By Design Stage 4 kit…. 800hp. With the all wheel drive 0-60 in 2.3. Reliable, smooth and classy. I never understood the Porsche thing. Once you own one you are hooked! They are built soo soo well. lol good stuff :-)

The Targa 911 is one of the coolest modern designs. I love that roofline.

I owned a ‘20 Carrera S cabriolet, got a Soul catted valveless exhaust and tuned it to nearly 600 HP. Simply one of the best sports cars ever made. Crazy fast, crazy loud, a total joy to drive. And after driving it for 11k miles, I sold it for more than I paid for it! Can’t go wrong with Porsche, but the only negative side is that they are relatively common

Man the r8 is a beautiful ride. Nothing compares to a Porsche 911 though, although I do have a curveball to throw you: 2024 Aston Martin vantage. It's an absolute beast but Porsche still beats it

I swear once you buy one you'll buy many more. But yeah I'd give up the r8 in a split second for a chance to own a new 911. Oh my gosh bro I'm excited for you. You gotta do it.

Ok, let's not exaggerate, The GT3RS (6:44.88) that beat the GT-BS (6:43.62) on the Nürburgring, was heavily Modified, the GT-BS was Stock and was only a second slower over the 14 Mile Course. These below numbers don't lie. AMG GT-BS absolutely destroys that little 6 Cylinder Porsche. Unless your buying it for your Wife, get the Mercedes! You two are my favorite couple on KZfaq. I can’t believe the Porsche GT3 RS price has risen so much. If I had the millions in the bank though I’d go with the GT3 RS and put wrap it matte red or dark blue everywhere except the carbon fiber. Then again I’m more of an SUV guy and would probably go with the top of the line URUS. Or the high end horse power Rivian.

Porsche 911 has always been my car, I’m more old school, but for you I would think the spyder would be a good R8 replacement. The GT3 is definitely a track car, but it’s a beauty. Looking good Christina💯

Porsche is a beautiful car but with the R8 no longer being produced i would keep it and get either a gt3 or an amg gt 63.

I miss my classic wale tail 911. Was the most exciting in the turns, lifting and effortlessly power sliding through on demand, back roads behind the original Twin Pine 🌲 🌲 Lincoln in Ephrata Pa climbing up through Clay and up the Furnace Hills Rd., Mountain.

I was not a Porsche guy for a long time. I do like them now. It’s weird, they just grew on me over time. I would still not buy one over a Lambo or Ferrari though. As far as the GT63… it depends on the price. If similar, go with Porsche! I think the Porsche is higher though.
