All-New 2025 Mazda 6 Revealed : Review - Release And Date !!!
After abandoning plans to revive the Mazda6, the company is rethinking the sedan's comeback in light of the SUV lineup's financial success. The 6 revival and the production of a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive sedan were allegedly shelved earlier this year as Mazda shifted its focus to SUVs and crossovers. A new Japanese article, however, suggests that the SUVs' favourable reception has caused a rethinking of the sedan.
The Mazda6, a popular and attractive front-wheel-drive sedan that was terminated in recent years along with many others in its dwindling class, is fondly remembered by many. For the past two years, the sedan has been unavailable to buyers due to shifting tastes toward higher-riding versions.
The car's resurrection has been the subject of persistent rumors for quite some time, with many believing that the revived model will be a four-door coupe with a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout, catering to enthusiasts. Japanese media cited an anonymous source in August as saying that the most recent architecture for big vehicles, which was originally intended for a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive arrangement, will be "exclusive to SUVs."Actually, the carmaker has been putting a lot of effort into fixing up its CX SUV lineup. The Japanese carmaker is making great strides, what with the CX-50 and CX-90 hitting North American markets and the CX-60 making its rounds in Europe. A total of five models-the CX-50, CX-60, CX-70, CX-80, and CX-90-are slated for sale in different global regions.
From a business perspective, the plan is highly rational, especially in light of the increasing sales of SUVs. Best Car, a Japanese news outlet, has recently reported that Mazda can afford to build a sedan again because to the success and low production costs of the CX-90 and CX-60.The four-door sedan, which is said to be targeting the North American market, will supposedly share its platform and drivetrain with the CX-60. That means the 3.3-liter inline-six turbo, which is now offered in 280 hp and 340 hp versions, and the 2.5-liter inline four turbo, which is also available in ICE and PHEV forms, could be on the way for drivers.
