Welcome back to East Yorkshire for yet another review of their network, I did tell you all I did some in-depth research! For this video we are heading west out of Hull on the latest EastRider routes to join the network in the form of the X5 and 55 bus services between Hull and Goole via Elloughton. For this run I take a ride out on the X5 coach service then return on the very recently introduced EastRider 55 buses back to Hull and discuss the origins of the buses as well as how they've significantly improved the network.

The G2’s were actually exchanged for the The 2 400MMC’s and B5TL’s in 2019. The G2’s were eventually moved in 2020/2021. The eclipses B7RLE’s were bought from GNE

Update July 2022 : east rider x5 has now been withdrawn due to lack of passengers using the service

Also its really nice to see a Dealer Stock bus go from the not best of interiors. to such a high spec bus. big improvement from GNE's red kite. were really pointless getting them if they had Streetlites along with them if they didnt have the same features. makes the omnicitys that were on ages ago better

The new East Yorkshire branding on the Volvo B9TL (BG15) reminds me of the new Doncaster Branding from First Bus and how the 2012 B9TLs have been painted with a similar design at the front.

I loved diamond bus Trans bus e300 in the midlands sadly an idiot set the depot alight and the e300s got damaged and subsequently withdrawn

5:00 I like how they installed the stop buttons inside the coaches as coaches don't have bars like normal buses.

The coaches sound like the Volvo B9TLs.

They are a B9 chassis but B9R

The idea was to provide a bit of luxury on the service, though I always felt the service would have done better if a regular bus had been used on it
