As Honda's compact SUV, the HR-V will compete with the Toyota C-HR and Volkswagen T-Roc. The latest generation has been completely overhauled and is now just a hybrid.
For this generation, the HR-V now has a slightly more square design as seen in the first generation, but also has a very modern look to make it stand out from the crowd. The sleek headlights, hexagonal grille and simple front design look smart, while the 'Premium Sunlight White' paintwork means you won't lose it in a hurry. Plus, 18-inch alloy wheels are standard on all HR-V versions, and you have a stylish SUV.
It may not be the most luxurious cabin, but Honda makes it very neat and easy to navigate. On the Advance Style model we drove, it came with orange stitching on the steering wheel and seats, as well as trim trim around the gear lever.
The cabin of the HR-V is one of the brightest compared to other alternatives on the market, with windows that let in a lot of light and lighter colored fabrics in our car making this a very pleasant place to be.
With the leather and fabric combination for the upholstery, the overall quality of the interior trim is good, although some rough plastic can be found throughout - especially on the doors and below the dashboard level.
