In Thailand, the 2025 Isuzu MU-X makeover was unveiled.
The 2025 Isuzu MU-X features a revamped front and a slightly upgraded interior with greater technology. These are the highlights of the makeover. The two diesel powerplant options and the ladder-frame foundation are retained.
The 3.0-liter engine produces 187 horsepower, while the standard 1.9-liter engine only produces 148 horsepower. Apart from the flagship RS, which is also equipped with an appropriate 4WD system, power is sent to the rear wheels (4×2). Every MU-X model sold in Thailand comes with a six-speed automatic gearbox.
Along with the more opulent Ultimate trim, there is now a new RS trim with sportier styling cues for the three-row SUV, which is closely related to the Isuzu D-Max pickup.
The mid-lifecycle update of the Isuzu MU-X features a fully revised look in contrast to the second generation that made its debut in late 2020. Sharper LED headlights and more muscular bumper intakes flank the bigger grille. Isuzu designers modified the rear bumper and fitted full-width LED taillights to the back.
The chrome-infused grill, the garnish surrounding the intakes, the front skid plate, and the rear bumper extensions set apart the new RS trim. It also comes with a special set of 20-inch black alloy wheels that match the roof and fender flares in color. Lastly, there are lime green embellishments on the center caps and the RS emblems.
A revised 9-inch infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay is housed beside a new 7-inch screen in the instrument cluster.
