So glad they added more electronic repair kits on Livonia. Spent 3 entire sessions looking for one last week to repair the acog on my DMR. Didn’t see a single one. Finally found a fresh scope instead.

I spent the entirety looking for it to repair my PSO scope. Then I found a new, pristine scope and after 10 minutes, I found 2 of them. Sometimes, I question my decision to play this game.

I'm not a huge fan of tool condition causing damage to things, there has to be a balance between difficulty and enjoyment, when you make things too tedious you start taking away from the enjoyment factor of the game and that needs to be considered.

Haha I feel this here. I get so angry when I finally get a hunter jacket or field jacket than even when I'm blocking a zombie, 2 swings at me and I feel like everything is ruined

Im glad to see this change. Its ironic because a few updates ago they increased the damage infected do to players and clothing durability. The amount of damage to clothing was insane! After fighting infected id repair my clothes with the little ducttape i had, then id get smacked by a zombie and my jacket is already damaged! So glad to see them changing it back, i couldnt find enough repair items to keep up with the amount of damage my clothes were taking

Ive noticed the smoke from gunshots at me before, one time it helped when i couldnt even see the sniper but i saw the barrelsmoke and knew his position and could cut line of sight. (I didnt have a working gun yet)

Wobo can I suggest adding melee weapons to your online stats database? Melee fighting between freshies is a huge thing, and just yesterday I really wanted to know the stats of a standard baseball bat vs baseball bat with nails added against players. But alas, I could find no info anywhere.

Just work it out from experience, it's better when there's some mystery, and the stats overlook the user, who may subjectively be better with certain weapons than others. Not everything can be reduced to objective statistics.

i wonder if the overheating change might be because there's a chance of an actual MG being in the game, right now we have quite a few 5.56 weapons with the AK-101, Scout rifle, the SSG and ofc M4, but only 2 of those are automatic, so perhaps we'll see a M249 or an RPK? we already have magazines that can be used for both, with the 60rnd Stanag (which CAN technically fit in a M249) and the drum mag for the AKM.

unfortunately it's only a cosmetic occurrence, and the devs have said they have no interest in MGs anytime soon, but man, imagine mounting an MG to the Humvee hatch 🤤

SSG is 5.45 but obviously also missing a few 5.56 guns, AUG AX, AUG A1, Famas, all automatic too 😮 And yeah I believe RPK would be 5.45 too so no existing drum mag at the moment.

Can you confirm changes to clothes wetness resistance,I've noticed during rain storms it now takes longer for wetness icon to appear. Also may or may not be a thing but have noticed on my private server more house doors and gates are open vs closed appearing as if a player was in a area recently.

Each line in acog is 100 meters farther away from your zeroing distance Obj is 300m away= 200m zeroing+ first line below the crosshair on ACOG

they're still out of the files for now, but the file where all names and descriptions are got updates to the those masks, and chains' mask got added too. By the 2024 roadmap they said they're gonna be doing more collaborations with other games so this has gotta be it :)

This can't really be fixed without just straight up removing the ability to play for Xbox One and PS4 users. The only reason it's possible is because how long those take to render walls and the environment. You won't see that on Xbox one X and PS5. You will get like...a split second of x ray, compared to legitimate seconds on the older ones. Source: I had an Xbox One and then upgraded and saw the drastic difference. I never really x rayed, it's just a tedious thing to do, but I have x rayed chests or digging spots without it really being my intent just logging out somewhere and logging back in. It's frustrating for sure when people abuse it on purpose though. Like, I have fought a group of people obviously x raying with alts, fucking annoying.

this happens to me in PS5, reason why i dont play anymore... i have died many times to cheaters doing white walling in Livonia: Nadbor, Satellite military base, etc... you just learn to avoid those areas but of course you can't enjoy the game to the fullest no more and cheaters are doing it in many other places as well... also in Chernarus @@LaztheLax

Anybody getting an issue when attempting to ads from the hip fire state? I click the ads button from hip fire and it will flick in and out of ads instead of toggle like it used to be.

I was playing this morning when all of a sudden the server I was in shut down. Then there were only six available servers on the official server list. All of them were buggy as hell and all of them forcibly spawned me as a default female character. I thought maybe the game had crashed or something but I'm happy to see that it was update related 🎉

Anyone else now having issues with ADS on all servers? I always set both my Raise modifier and my ADS to right click, it's always allowed me to right click and hold for auto ads and if I wanted hip fire i just double right clicked. That doesn't work now after update.

Hold to ads and quick prone under fences are both removed. Someone raised the ADS issue in their feedback tracker and it has been 'acknowledged'. Hopefully the aim will be fixed but the prone trick is most likely gone for good, since skillgap is illegal..

Yes, fix the quality and wear on items, things break too easily. Fix the helmets too, the best armored helmets in the game in pristine condition goes to badly damaged from just ONE punch lol that doesn't make sense. That was 4 months ago, not sure if they fixed the helmets yet or not

I might not have been paying attention, but does having fully restored clothes give you more weapon slots now? I sewed up a tactical vest from badly damaged to worn and it SEEMED like I gained a additional slot.

Is anyone else also having a problem with launching the game after the update ? When I click "play" in the DayZ launcher the game starts loading but in the last 10 percent it crashes and an error pops out. The only way for me to play is to join a server in the launcher. I can't get into the "lobby/main menu", even when a server restarts, when it kicks me it also crashes the game. Anyone can help ??

Bullet trajectory ? Just run dayz diag and then hold alt + win to access to the diag menu. you can use the arrow key to navigate and enable what you want like bullet simulation~

Bohemia will look at guns that are worse than the M4 and KAM and go "Make it harder to find. Put it inside the fucking pentagon in real life. This should be the hardest gun to find not the ones with the most attachments and best stats"

Will they ever add better armor for the end-game content? Alot of weapons at end-game are so powerful that they kill you in 2-3 shots (or 1 shot) when wearing assault helm and platecarrier. An armor type that makes it so it takes minimum 7-8 shots to KO someone with an M4 (8-9 to kill) would make it more interesting. Either this or make all end-game weapons significantly less accurate, it's just plain boring killing fully armed players in one second. Although i could try modded servers lol but i enjoy Vanilla overall (guess i'm ranting a bit, i love DayZ)
