I am currently running rev. 3 and I am old school, love it. I cannot wait to hear a new version. rocking a Wolfram 2400.1 turned down a bit on my rev 3. Pounds Period. I opted for an upgrade to a U-18 d.2. Its all good when its Sundown.......

Aye Wusup brother. First and foremost I wanna thank you for all your knowledge and content you put out to your subscribers. I honestly appreciate it. I purchased the SA v12 1000 watt subs with the 3k amp. I have them in a box that was built for a buddy a while back for 2 jl audio w7s.not sure what it's set to regarding hz. But I'm sure it's between 30/32hz. I wired them in parallel series but not bridged to the amp. They sound amazing with the gain turned to 32 hz and other settings at recommended setting. It was hitting super hard and then I thought I smelled something coming from my truck. I have a 2012 Denali. So I opened the back and didn't really smell too much but did smell a little burnt. But when I push in the woofers they feel normal unless I push them in almost all the way in them I hear a little scratchy. Like it loosened the coil a little or sun thing but not too sure. I can still play them and they still slap but wanted to get your suggestion or help on what steps or precautions to take next. I also want to mention I really wanna upgrade to the z or x model 10's. Just cus I like the ways tens sound.Any questions , comments, advice would really be appreciated my friend. God bless and keep the videos coming bro. Take care

Got myself 1 of those bad boys sa 12 v.2 in a box tuned to 32hz and a skar rp1200.1 and yeah straight slapping.

ive got a pair of rev 1 sa12's ive had for years. have them on a sk2500 @1ohm and they love it. maybe i'll pick up a pair of these one day.

I'd like to see back to back spl testing with the v1and v2 same box, same power level. Most people will be upgrading with same box so it's a fair comparison. Its obviously going to handle more power so if the efficiency is equal or better it will definitely be an upgrade.

There's 3 companies in China that make all the subwoofers in U.S.A ... design and engineer is a different topic .. but all made in China

I'm always interested in new subs. For me I don't think anything will beat the combo I get with the x or z 15. The combination of a 30hz or lower fs for sq, shorting ring for sq, 15 inch for efficiency, and high mechanical and electrical linearity for sq and low extension is really the perfect combo for me. I know that the SAs also come with shorting rings and have good linearity and power handling for their class so really the main thing I'm interested in is the fs. This might be the perfect sub that I could recommend to someone looking for a similar sounding setup but using a smaller box or the same size box but more power.

I'm interested in getting 2 to replace my LCS 12's. I've beat them half to death, or at least I thought I did. They just won't give up but it's time for an upgrade in wattage. And no doubt the same great quality.

What gauge speaker wire should I use for these? Keep in mind I will have to jam 2 into 1 for parallel. Also planning to run a 2400w amp with them but was told I should a bigger amp.

Hi from australia! Just recieved my subwoofer yesterday, any pre run in things i should do? Using a alpine pdx m12

How much space does the motor need for proper cooling? If I do a swap out, I will only have 1/4 inch from the back of the motor to the back of the enclosure. If I add a 1/2" spacer ring to the baffle, the excursion might be an issue in my down fire console enclosure.

You could call these, the *"U-SA"* subs!! U-SA12's being is has U series frames...

I just hope it will live up to the original S.A. series subs. The S.A. series sub is by far the best and baddest sub I've ever owned by far. I was blown away by the performance of them. I hope the newer one can fill those shoes is all I am saying.

Would 4 of those in 12's on a sundown 4k work good for a Daily set up and not really looking for the lows like a Happy medium ?

Just a couple more questions: What is the difference in X-max? I do believe, that the original is 18 mm, which gives a total "throw" of just over 1-3/8 inches. What about the SA.2? is the free air resonance similar?(about 29 Hz)

I want to go all Sundown & give it a try like I’ve done other brand’s throughout my life miss highs the whole 9 yards

It seems like the material the coil is made from makes more difference. Black aluminum coils vs pure copper coils . Black aluminum coil seems to mean stick to rated power or below amd copper seems to be able to handle a range of power.

I will want to try a pair of sa subs. I went from 4 Kicker C12a when I was 28, to 4 RF RFD 1212 when I was 30, in my 97 S-10. Now that I'm 46 and drive a 4Runner I want to try 6 12's. :D

My sa 15 v2 subs are reading 2.8 to 3.1 ohms. These are brand new subs and they are labeled d4 4 ohm. My final load is .7 ohm. Is this right or or a build messup??????
