Beautiful work! I was frustrated with Prismas breaking too - I got a T'gaal pencil sharpener that is adjustable. I sharpen Prismas with a shorter point and they work great. I do need to sharpen often but they blend well.

Lovely! Thank you for going through the books, as I am thinking of buying a book by Hanna Karlzon. Nice to see what I will be getting regarding the coloring pages. I hear that she has not been well. Sara x Western Australia

It’s a very nice choice if you want a good quality book. The paper is wonderful and there is a nice variety of pictures. The book “seasons” is a nice book to start (my opinion). It has some images for all the seasons. 😀👍 Good luck and enjoy

I just watched a lot of YT videos before I started coloring. So glad I did, because I didn’t knew anything about blending. I am sure yours turned out beautiful as well. We are to hard on ourselves sometimes.

All of your pages are beautiful! The 1st 2 you showed are stunning. I have 4 books from Hanna Karlzon, which says a lot because I prefer PDFs so I can print on my own paper. I initially got Magical Dawn so I could follow Zuchinni Kitty’s tutorials, even had all the Prismas she uses on a separate case but then I got distracted with other pages, so someday I will.

I also prefer my own paper if I am honest. I am into pdf’s as well this month but it is way more expensive then buying a book 🤓 that’s a shame. I try to do one page in Magical dawn each month otherwise I can never complete a book. It has like 84 pages of something.. I think I did 1/3 of the book after one year.

I really like your coloring. Here’s a hint for you. You can get clear Gesso and it works great in coloring books and isn’t too rough.

Oh really? 😀 can you recommend me any brand? It was back way when I was starting out and didn’t know alcohol markers bleeds through the paper. But I will try it for sure. I have some papers with not enough tooth and that will be a solution Xx thank you for the tip!!!

All your pages are so beautiful!! Even your very early ones are amazing! I think I feel the same as you about Hanna’s new books…I prefer her older books and less keen on her ‘Tales From…’ books. Won’t be getting the newest one because of that ☹️ Thanks for sharing your lovely pages!! 🤗💗

Thank you for sharing your beautiful work🥰 if you like the polychromos pencils so much i think you will enjoy the arteza they have kind the same laydown only the polychromos got more pigment. I think if you like the harder pencils better to laydown you also would like the caran dache pablos, they have a hexagonal shape so they feel different in the hand🤗💕

I matched all of the pages in spirit animals. I felt like I had to and also wanted to. Nice work. Your first is nicer than my current 🤣 I am not a fan of the small faces either. There is not really much you can do on a small face
