This is secretly Toby Fox's source material for the Spamton songs. One day he just found this old, rusty cassette with songs on it while digging in his backyard and decided to build an entire character off of it. We are lucky that Lil' Alien managed to find it

I like to imagine spamton carrying this in his pocket to play his music during the cutscenes or fights

not just any cassette!! a microcassette!! that’s awesome! i’ve always wanted a microcassette player but it’s not exactly the most popular format so i don’t know how much use i’d get out of it compared to my normal tape deck i use like every day lol.

8:59 I love this part in particular. The quality is obviously rough not just because of tape but also the mono speaker squishes the complex mids into a mess of voices while all you can do is follow the melody in the hi range.

Deal Gone Wrong is eerily echoing, in a way that makes it feel more accurate somehow. amazing altogether

i made an unofficial deltarune chapter 2 cassette release, with a lot of full art work and all just as a joke to give to my friend, i used to own a tape duplication thing,. so the joke tapes looked like you might find instore. i love what you did here

The equalization's off compared to the originals, but I suppose that comes with the low-fidelity nature of microcassettes. Regardless, this is pretty neat; the crustiness is very on-brand for Spamton.

I was severely overthinking cause my brain is dumb and can't work well when I am alone for a while, and came across this, and I stopped overthinking, and my brain went empty. If anyone reading this is overthinking by god look for better coping mechanisms or help than me, but, like this helped *a lot* Thank you creator of the video, you fixed my night quite a bit
