I played a demo of it in 2017 at a popup. Waited in line for 4 hours for it, was so excited (I'd been following the game's development), and then was genuinely disappointed when I tried it. Everything was unintuitive and buggy, the battles were confusing, and the narrative/quests weren't interesting. I put it down after maybe 10 minutes. I thought the game was a letdown. Fast forward to when I played the final version in 2020, it was incredible and became one of my all-time favorite games. I don't know all what they did, but those last three years in development definitely made a huge difference.

This video made me realize how cool the omori boy comics actually were and it makes me even more excited for the upcoming manga. Also Basil being called "the flower boy" just means something to me but I don't know what, I just find Basil's development really interesting for some reason

What many people don't understand is that if it wasn't for Omoriboy, OMOCAT definitely wouldn't have gotten to where she is today. In 9 years, Omori's concept as a game originated from a separate piece of Tumblr edginess webcomic created as a way for Omocat to help her put up with a chapter in her life, portraying the character as a less than 20 year-old stereotypical average isolated shut-in, but soon, it changed Omocat as a person, inspiring her to develop her own game about actually addressing depression, trauma and giving a life lesson, the rest is history. Omori didn't just change our lives, but also changed Omocat as well, which is why i love it even more.

The ships Omocat implies are not reliable because first she made a suntan post written 'the love bench' and then she made sunflower, a tweet that reads 'omg omori x basil already' and now she made hints of implied sunburn, I don't really think she was serious with all of these ship posts (sunflower and suntan) and in-game ships (sunburn)

this is an amazing collection of the game's development art!!!! btw tv head girl is not the only character that belonged to omocat and made it into omori, there's also fishboy and pretty boy comic characters! :D btw to ppl talking abt omoriboy's laptop it's well known he's not the same as the omori character + omoriboy is ~20 while omori is 12 so please stop using it as a reason to say omocat is weird, just look into the game's development more and after make your own decisions abt how u feel abt it
