All on 4 or Another Way to Have a Full Set of Dental Implants?

Some thing like "all on 4" or just having a full set of dental implants is tempting for a lot of people, however, there is another option, one where you keep some teeth.
This option is easy to overlook, and it may not be perfect for everyone, but there are a lot of advantages to it.

Thankyou for your videos I have watch almost all of them. I live in Australia and will having all on 4s done next week. I feel your videos gave me so many questions I needed to ask when getting quotes on price and info on how they will do the work. After seeing 4 different dentist clinic my mind was in overload so I went back and watched a few of your videos which help me re-ask a few questions, this help me pick the right dentist for me. I would like to say thankyou again

I'm in Sydney Australia and look for good option. Who did you go with and how much did it end up costing. There's a lot to understand.

@@catherinethorpe4717 It costed me just under $50,000 but the cost is not (only) what you need to look at..... The most important thing is to get someone who will listen to "you" and is proud of their work a perfectionist who will not give up until everything is perfect. Most places that do all on 4's give a 30/60 min free appointment (get about 3 quotes) ((bring a note pad and someone with you as you be over load with info)). In the end my dentist ended up doing 6 implants on top and 4 on the bottom for the quoted price. Today is day 4 and I am black and blue with my head twice it's size but no pain.

@@catherinethorpe4717 I paid just under $50,000 for upper and lower, the price is not the most important thing as they are all about the same price. Having the right dentist and one that listens to you. Get a few quotes most dentists who do all on 4's do free quotes or a small price. Each dentist will do the work different from each other so take a friend and wrote lots of notes as you will have a brain overload working out who you will pick.

@@catherinethorpe4717 My dentist name is Dr Paul Bui and I have been very happy with him he is very easy to talk to, I had the work done Melbourne at Glenferrie Dental clinic as this is where anaesthetist comes to put you under (It took them well over 6 hours so you need to be asleep) but I live close Purity Dental which is good for the per visits and and the many post follow ups. Dr Paul Bui works at both of these clinics.

I think your last statement is spot on... if your teeth are shot, one is less likely to take as good a care (as in why bother)... but if you get restorative work done and you get a nice set of teeth back, you'll take care of your teeth to make sure you don't go back to what existed before.

I had all on four, and the experience was HORRID. He used digital plus 3D PRINTER. All temps were never correct or comfortable, Now I have Zirconium and still awful. I only had the uppers done. No gum. Paid before anything was done. Yes, I am so sorry I asked for this, and the cost about $30,000.00. Also I believe I was not lied too, but not told all the things about it. When I asked questions, or had problems like I was biting my tongue, or was cutting my cheek, excess material of teeth, he got angry. However, his assistant was the one explaining things to me, though she could not fix it. I have a small mouth, and these teeth are way to big!! And also, now I developed a horrid wrinkle on the bottom under my lower lip , when he installed the last set which is the Zirconia teeth..Not sure what I can do, as he used a DIGITAL PRINTER, most use a mill. All I can say here is I would not advise getting an all on four!!!

May I ask if you have a video if it is worthwhile to replace old bridges with new ones? What's the probability of breaking the shaved teeth while the dentist tries to remove the old bridges. Thank you for the informative videos. I am currently treating my gum deases. You are so right, to get ideas for different dentists. I went in Greece and I asked 4 different dentists and I got 4 different opinions regarding replacing my old bridges, unfortunately for some reason no one of dentists I spoke to they didn't want to replace my old bridges.

Unfortunately, I went with all on 4 instead of restoration which should have been mentioned as an alternative. They're horrible 3.5 weeks out. Can all on 4 be changed to 3 on 6? I can't handle the extra bulk from all on 4. I'm miserable.

Hello Dr Gurs love your videos really interesting hope you don’t mind me asking you a question I had my teeth removed in may and had 10 implants fitted 4 on top 6 on bottom..I was to,d I would need a prosthetic bridge with zirconium crowns on I want to ask you if it’s possible to just have the crowns fitted to the implants and to exclude the false gum….cheers …

I went the complex route in 2011-2012. Now I'm told that all on─in my case─six is the only way to restore my bottom teeth since I now have only 2 natural teeth left on the bottom after going along with a scam to have my 4 lower front teeth extracted in 2023 and replaced with an implant bridge that looks godawful. I'm concerned about doing all on six using my existing implants. Could you expound on this topic? I wish you could be my dentist as does everyone who watches you, I'm sure.

Can you briefly explain why does it cost nearly £30,000 to perform a full set of dental implants? I understand that you are highly qualified and have spent years learning the skills. Is it that the materials cost soo much? If it can be done in a day let's say 8 hours, that's £3,750 an hour. I just can't understand the high cost. I mean no disrespect I just would like to understand the justification.
