No they weren't. Merauder was first. Merauders original guitarist Chris Bozeth moved upstate from Brooklyn and brought with him the Merauder sound. He was AOW's guitarist before the demo.

The one band was called Outbreak - but as one person remarked; "Every state has a band called Outbreak." haha We only played a dozen or so shows ('99-'01), and mainly hosted & played shows in Hawley (by Wallenpaupack), we usually had Strength For A Reason headline, Karl & them are they're great guys. Then we had a band called Stabacadaver - I think Sea Sea's was closed by then, so we played Cafe' Metropolis, and Club Homebase. Then I played in a band called The Puffy Tongues, which actually played in East Stroudsburg a few times, at a more D.I.Y. venue right next to The Sherman, called The Living Room.

@@hermitkungfu Haha thats funny about the name,I guess..I probably saw u guys I very rarely missed a SFAR show. Karl is a wonderful dude as we as all band members past n present. I've been to both the living room n Sherman many times. I think the club in East Stroudsburg was Bizmos maybe?? I helped run a few up my way. The Underworld and also Penn Monster Factory..

51 - 73 it’s metal at some parts and more beat down hardcore at others. I hear the blend.
