@@smolltaco5667Graves is Chaotic Neutral to the core He disregards rules and often follows what he thinks is good For example he had orders to Engage the 141 but he decided to give them a chance and didn’t fire upon them until Alejandro Struck them He also followed his own code to find out where Hassan was by killing all the corrupt police officers He then tells the truth (or at least half of it) to congress here and ultimately makes Shepherd look like a Corrupt General He is indeed an Anti-Hero, he wants kill the enemy but he will have questionable methods in order to do so

@@smolltaco5667as an avid reader of Webnovels, fiction and video game lore. I can backed up his claim of Graves being Anti-Hero. Anti-Hero by definition is a character who lacked hero quality such as valour, bravery, protecting the weak and such. Its defining trait is also doing a Good action but for the wrong reason. Sometimes, Anti-Hero and Anti-Villain definition is blurred but one of the main thing about being an Anti-Hero is the fact the main Protagonist are close to them and they don't proactively trying to eliminate the Anti-Hero, instead they sometimes working together. Example of the perfect anti hero that has a lasting impression on me is Adam from Lord of the Mysteries, The Puppet God's and their churches from Tree of Aeon, and others examples.

An anti hero is a character/hero (someone the audience is meant to root for) but expresses qualities deemed either underhanded or taboo to the culture/time the story comes from. For instance Odysseus is an anti hero as he is for the most part mortal and he uses trickery to beat his opponents. (This was usually allowed for gods and Demi gods as their divine nature made them above the rules of man). Due to Odysseus being normal he is constantly punished for his miss deeds. Graves is very much not an anti hero as he is flat out a bad guy. One who just happens to be a convenient ally. He is better described as a Magnificent Bastard.

@@kylianbhoyrub93Gaz is the most level headed of the bunch. He knows these men have no morals, but he accepts that there's a bigger threat and that there's work to be done. When they captured Shepherd he made the most sense. Gaz is just the best soldier to have by your side.

NGL of all the stuff our government wastes money on, the military is easily the most cost efficient part of the government. That's a heavy "relatively speaking" though. But when you remember the State department spent 1.5 million dollars for a single plastic chair and bought like 20 of them, it's not hard to beat that.

In fact, it was known that it was not in the tank because of the noise on the radio in MW2 because you cannot hear an echo or anything of its own if it were in there, instead we heard it as it always was on the radio. That small detail already told you that it was never inside.

In that mission, his desperate yells slash pleads for assistance from Shepherd fell on deaf ears. Graves do care for his employees.

They really tried to make it like some sort of solo warzone and it sucked. It took away the cinematic feel of it. Even Soap's death was so underplayed. You didn't feel like anything was on the line. No pressure nothing. Graves and Soap were great

Shepherd actually didn't authorize Graves to fire on 141. He was put in command of the operation and ordered 141 to 'stand down' and leave the base.

Shepherd did order Shadow to use lethal force on 141 if they were not to stand down when Graves gave the order. They werent gonna leave easily cuz even if no harm came upon Alejandro's Los Vaqueros, one cannot simply take over a foreign military base and claim it as your own FOB (forward operations base) without any repercussions.

At 4:11 the Ac130 does not have "Missiles" only 25mm 40mm and 105mm but im not completely sure of it could be modified to fire missiles BUT it also might not be a Ac130 it looks similar to the Ac130 but it also looks partly different

I really wish they hadn't shoehorned him into being a bad guy in MWII. I'm tired of seeing PMCs and security contractors portrayed as duplicitous when in reality, they're mostly just ex-soldiers, special operations forces, marines, and intelligence specialists looking to get paid more to do the same damn thing our countries' trained them to do. Fun fact: probably a third to half of the people we had on the ground in the Middle East were contractors of some sort - all the way down to cooks, logistics people, security for high ranking officers and diplomats, and base security. A good book on the matter is Zero Footprint. It's about an ex-Royal Marine who works for a bunch of PMCs while hunting Bin Laden or doing dirty work such as supplying Free Syrian Army forces.

Unless the details of Los Almos come to light with Graves' little ... er, 'bout of over-zealousness', it'll be swept under the rug as a 'confrontation that got out of hand'. Probably with a little help to Alejandro's outfit as 'penance', at best. Shadow Company, for the time being, might be reined in, but Graves could walk away (at best) with minimial time served. At least - in his eyes - he got Shepard back in the end.

[Spoiler] Considering how Shepherd gets killed by Price at the post-credits scene, Graves might either: 1. Get hired by Price or Laswell and team up with 141. It might make some problems though if Alejandro gets into the mix. 2. Seek revenge against Price. But to be honest, Graves was kinda in a conflict with Shepherd previously, so he probably doesn't care about the general's death. But yknow, he'll probably view Price as a traitor and war criminal if he finds out (will absolutely be ironic lol).

I ain't a Graves sympathizer but if you look at it, sicarios and corrupt cops always speak about the cartel or El Sin Nombre avenge for them. Alejandro said that Las Almas is heavily infested by the cartel and its influence, from the population, to the police and even the regular Mexican Army grunts.
