First game they made (Big Red One) it was about fighting different ENEMIES (Vichy French, Italians, and Germans), something unprecedented in COD up to that point. Second game was this and they decide to add different ALLIES (Canadians, Polish, French) either way, it’s cool they did this

One thing I like about COD 3 is the wider variety of tanks. M4 Shermans, PZ.IVs, Panthers, Tiger Is and Tiger IIs. Well, ofc there is some polish biasness for that Sherman firefly.

The poles liberated the region of the city of Breda ( Netherlands) they gave the city a panther as a gift.....it is still there as a monument. Some of the soldiers stayed and lived there for the rest of their life.

Possibly the most underrated COD game. Nobody seems to remember this when I tell them about it. It had a great multiplayer (from which you could also drive vehicles etc.), and the overall style was completely different from the first two titles and the subsequent Modern Warfare series. Happy memories!

This was undeniably the best call of duty. The moments when you go into CQC, take off the boards blocking the way, and the row boat scene are the moments that really stick out to me. Whish they added more of those in future CoD.

I absolutely love that Call of Duty 3 included a Polish perspective. It's often forgotten that after the "Big Three", the nation that contributed the most to the Allied war effort was Poland. Poles fought bravely at home in the Resistance, with the Western Allies, or (begrudgingly) with the Soviets in the East. It is a shame they only get two missions though. The Polish tank crew are quite charming from the time we spend with them. I especially love how everyone calls the squad leader "Papa Jack", since he's pretty old to be fighting. It's cute. The tank mission feels like a prototype for Blood and Iron mission in World at War.

@@tawarwaith994 what's racist is how Colonial troops made up two thirds of the Free French Army, and yet when the war ended they were stripped of their uniforms and set home often with no pay. They weren't even allowed to take part in the Liberation Parade; the Allies wanted a "whites parade" and literally shipped in anyone who looked kinda French from the Middle East or Italy to make up the numbers, since there weren't enough white French to make up a parade. Look it up, it fucking happened. DICE actually had the balls to cover that part of history, that the West has all but completely buried out of shame. You can get all pissy, but damn they covered a group of people who were unappreciated and discarded and I respect the hell out of them for it.

Not to mention they just watched Poland getting fucked up in 1939. Not saying British were same assholes like Soviet union, but every country has its own flaws and mistakes at that time. Which means, ea's "Russia switched sides more than once so they're bad" statement is absolute bullshit.

I like when the objectives in a game are on a smaller scale. The Polish aren't saying "drive the Germans out of France", they saying "Kill this one tank that we know is somewhere in the local area" or "Take this hill outside town". It feels grounded.

I wont lie, I like they added Polish campaign in which we fight as Polish soldier in exaile (Tell me what other games allow for it?) But... There are small problems here and there, mostly in what they say. 1. "The swinia who drove us from motherland." What motherland? We aint soviets! He should have said "Fatherland" as we call our home soil "Ojczyzna" ("Ojczy-" from "Ojciec" which means "Father") 2. Over use of "Bohater" to calling out one of his crew member. Problem I see with it is well... It can be used once or twice but it dosent sound right... "Bohater" means "Hero" in Polish, so ask your self. Would you call your squadmate/crew member a hero 24/7? "Hey Hero! Get that tank moving!" "Where the hell is Hero?!" It dosent sound right, least for me.

The only times they made the "operator" protagonist right is the MWs (original trilogy and the first reboot one) and the first two Black Ops

If you wait or slow down at 5:10 an anti-tank squad of Germans will ambush you with Panzershreks. However the player went full speed ahead and triggered the next cutscene

me too bro, plus when I was a kid I didn't even know English lmao. So after a time I came back to see the campaign and actually understand the dialogues. This game is one of my favorites of all time.

You only got to play as the Poles for two missions, but it was definitely refreshing to play as another faction that wasn't the British, Americans, or Soviets.

@@AFGuidesHD Not Russia, but USSR. Stop being ignorant and calling it Russia, it was 15 countries that fought under one flag. Only half of the Red Army was Russian, the other half were other slavs and ethnic minorities from other Soviet republics.
