Here is a play-through of ALL the Resident Evil Save Room Themes - so from RE0, 1, 2, 3, Code Veronica X, 4 & 5. All subsequent RE games have done away with the save room concept so boo, this may be the last we see of these wonderfully relaxing, but also occasionally unnerving themes :P All pieces were arranged by me with no sheets (sorry :/), apart from the theme from Code Veronica X - the link to sheets for that one can be found in my separate upload of that piece. For more details about these pieces, such as the composers names etc, again, please see my individual uploads of the pieces :)))

I always loved the resident evil 2 save room theme. So ominous. Like it reminded you of the horrific crap waiting outside of the room. Instead of making you feel at ease, it creates so much dread.

Uff estaba destinado a ser el juego insigna de toda la saga. Sin embargo, el poquísimo éxito comercial de la Dreamcast (para la cual el juego era exclusivo inicialmente) lo relegó a un segundo plano, al de una joya que quedó guardada en el cajón, sin la exposición que se merece.

I know. Others have said this but even though I was safe in that room the music perfectly captures the feeling of dread you get knowing you had to go back out there by yourself. Looking back the earlier games didn't have great graphics and were so linear, but at the time they felt so immersive. The music contributed to that a lot.

The Save room music from the resident evil games is so perfect because the Athmosphere they give out is perfect. They all just give the impression of "Its ok. You have been through hell but you can rest here for a while. Rest here for as long as you would like. Nothings going to hurt you here". Even if its literally just a beat down boiler room surrounded by Zombies outside a police station you can relax. You know your safe in there.

Well i don't Agree RE7 was meh a really forgettable game. I almost liked RE6 more than this also i don't like FPS that much so i already had a bias. Its a slight move in the right direction but for me unless they go back to original Fixed camera angle or something similar (in fact revelation 2 was better than 7) its a no go i didn't pay for 7 i rented it and i have no intention to pay for it. Plus that stupid Season pass that should have been in the game considering the length of the base game.

Man, I just about CAME when the Code Veronica one was played!! Not only was it nicely done here, but it also reflected the sort of fall from grace of the Ashford family while you were fighting your way through the creature ridden estates in the game. There was a sort of richness to that particular song track that is STILL unmatched by any other game track I know of. Capcom was always on point with the ResidentEvil series music though. :-)

Observations: Man, Moment of Relief is the one piece that translates the best into single piano, mayhaps because it was intended as a more elaborate piano when it was written. Ditto for the RE5 and RE0 ones. The RE0 piece, more specifically, is as simple as it gets, but since it's already mainly a piano one, it sounds pretty good here. By contrast, Safe Haven from RE1 and Secure Place from RE2 don't translate that well into a single piano piece. This may be because those two pieces rely more in the arrangement and production to convey their respective moods. As in, those two pieces are the most horror like of the bunch, so they feel kinda empty without the synth parts to enrichen the sound. Aah... synths, they sound kinda fake in traditional scores, but that artificiality makes them ideal for horror tracks. Funnily enough, Free From Fear translates kinda pretty good into a single piano piece despite it also being reliant on synth sounds. Maybe because it's more sad rather than dreary and as such, playing it only on piano really accentuates that? RE 4's save screen track sounds kinda good, too, though kinda cheery.

What makes your playing these songs on piano better than the other videos I've watched is that they've all used some kind of Electrical Synthesis Piano and not a real piano, or show a real piano image and fake their fingers touching the keys... Here you are using the Piano in your own home to play these masterpieces with your own fingers anytime you want! No Key boards used for anything other than uploading the audio for this amazing video, good job my man😁

Aunque estoy de acuerdo contigo en la gran seguridad que sentias al poder guardar la partida y combinar polvora, si Nemesis te estaba siguiendo y entrabas a un Save room, se escuchaba la cancion "Feel the Tense" que indicaba que Nemesis estaba cerca.

@@MrVolcomclassic in my opinion re3 then re2 then re1 because they make you feel safe but mostly still nervous scarred more than safe your not supposed to feel completely safe in resident evil that's why these are the best the rest you feel to safe almost completely in my opinion
