Actually he says he's more American than Romanian since he has lived in America since he was very young. He only talks in Romanian with his parents and when he gives interviews to Romanian newscasters. Also in Captain America: Civil War he said one sentence in Romanian while his character is buying plums.

@@torieowens8277still he is born in Romania and was there until he was 8. both his parents are romanian, he isnt american.

@@Anna_vanilla, he was, but he did say it is hard for him when it comes to Romanian as his knowledge is starting to dry up. He said it's a good thing his parents still insist on his speaking Romanian around them. I knew a girl at work like that. She was Hispanic and her family insisted she speak only Spanish, but she was better at English as she worked with a couple who spoke Spanish. She said the same thing. It was a good thing her family insisted as her knowledge of Spanish would dry out.

Can someone explain what happened to him in the end? Did he die? What did she mean other side of world?

I think he didn't die since Mace told him that she doesn't want to kill him but that he will spend the rest of his life in jail on the other side of the world(if I'm not mistaken) and that "poison" that was in ice was only strong enough to weaken him. Hope this helps. 😉😊And also I hope that there will be sequel where he like escape prison and either gets redemption or he gets worse and gets killed by Mace. 😅

@@torieowens8277 it wasn’t marketed well. It didn’t seem particularly interesting in the previews and seemed generic.
