I think you need to beat one of the main dungeons before the armor sets start dropping. FYI for those not getting them after several tries.

If you use the SS amiibo, you technically have 2 master swords. The sword it gives you is the goddess white sword which eventually gets forged into the master sword.

He's a cool tip, you can buy amiibo cards online that scan like actual amiibos if you can't find any actual ones. To get the pack I believe it was around $20 for me

To make this pro tip an hall of famer tip when you go to set your console date set the year back to 2000 so you won't be playing on a date that you might play on in case you set the actual date back and decide to use your amiibos. If you are in a bind randomly one day and need some materials it would suck to see the message that you can't use your amiibos. Go into the past instead of the future with your date change.

There were a lot of Zelda Amiibo’s that were released after the game came out or didn’t give much I’m glad they give you something now

Fun fact: you don’t need amibo to collect the items any more you can find these items as misko’s treasure now

I think TOTK Link, Toon Link and Zelda, Wolf Link, and Twilight Zelda are the best ones so far.

Don't freak out when your fabrics disappear, talk to Kochi in the dye shop and you'll see them and be able to select the ones you've unlocked.

Some amibo armours tou can fimd without the amiibo. The deity link and awakening link u can find witgout amiibos and more

This might be, hands down, the quickest way to farm for resources, especially if you're an avid Zelda fan and managed to own every Zelda Amiibo figure in existence.

I've not played BOTW. I've wanted to, but I'm on a super tight budget, and I'm a single mom, so if I AM buying a $60 video game, it's for my son on his birthday. However, I would like to try and save for a full price game. And, I am really interested in TOTK... would it be good for a person like me, who hasn't played BOTW? Or should I really try to play it before TOTK? Any recommendations are appreciated! 😊

Ppl were also using this save/reload exploit, to reroll thing they knew were in certain chests.... like the hylian shield... To get different durabilties on it

I hope somewhere in the game I can get the sword of the six sages I LOVE IT at least I can get EVERY amiibo because I have the cards, but sadly no totk one!

You can find some of these just by exploring too, I managed to find the Fierce Diety pants while exploring a giant hollow stump. I am kinda bummed wolf link can't be a companion anymore though.

We have finished everything in the game so far the only item that the link amiibo gives us is a decayed sword, a pristine sword that is only 18 for attack strength. A piece of cloth for the paraglider. Hit the random mushrooms. All of these can be obtained very easily near the beginning of the game anyway so as far as we're concerned the amiibo do we have is completely worthless. Other than something we can sit on a shelf and tell people that it's a waste of money.

You can also get the Tunic of Time in the Underground Map area when finding old maps in the sky islands.

For BOTW when I was trying to get the double helix sword for Link's Fierce Deity outfit I had to try for like 20 or more times. Bear in mind I got the complete fierce deity outfit before hand. I finally got the sword, but it was one of the harder ones to get. I pretty much got everything but a few trousers from some of the Link incarnations, and the Goddess Sword. I've gotten enough Fierce Deity Outfits for just about everyone reading this comment. I always sell my doubles to Beedle, or whomever will buy them that the closest to me at the moment.

I didn't get no armor with none of my amibo. I'm so confused. Some of the amibos didn't give me chest

I scanned the Wolf Link Amiibo and just got meat and no Glider Fabric or Tunic... did i do something wrong? I havent gotten the glider yet.

The Ancient Sheikah fabric, to me, is by far the best design. I am definitely getting that bin file (if I cannot find the fabric it in the game that is, I still have not started playing TotK)

Haven’t watched it, but I’m hoping that the Zelda one still gives twilight bow! Also quite sad you have to do the amiibo thing like that in botw you could just load the prev save I don’t wanna spend a billion years getting the divine helms. Also either the totk amiibo gives the of the wild set, or they will make something later for the of the wild set, at least the only one I like a bunch is the of the twilight

I have tried and tried to get the Dusk Bow from Twilight Zelda, and have never once gotten it. I keep getting opals, and random drops, never any good weapons.

Another thing to note. No idea if this works with other weapons, but the dusk claymore can actually be photographed, unlike the amiibo weapons in BOTW, where they just didn't get a reaction in the viewfinder. Not sure if this means the dusk claymore is actually a common weapon or whether amiibo weapons are now part of the compendium though, would need to get another weapon to test that.
