Hearing Sonic scream as Dark Spine gave me freaking chills.. Imagine if he went dark in more of the games. All that power. Terrifying but interesting and amazing at the same time.

The wisps in Lost World felt pointless. They weren't even mentionned in the story and the levels wouldn't Feel much different without them.

For those of you telling me Nazo isn't Sonic, the character we see at the end of that Japanese Sonic X trailer was a new form for Sonic, but the creators scrapped it. Chakra X took this unused Sonic form and turned him into a fanon character we know as Nazo. Nazo Unleashed isn't canon guys.

I think Darkspine qualifies as a type of Genie or Djinn, as his power is on a cosmic scale, much like Erazor's. Not only is he able to withstand the attacks from Erazor in a God like form, but once Erazor's grip on his new world slips, Sonic resets it to the original form, albeit at the cost of the Darkspine form, just with a flick of his wrist.

I agree. The problem is it's hard to watch without becoming horrified. Poor Sonic was in agony the whole time. With the purple smoke transformation, it wasn't nearly as horrifying, yes Soni suffers quite a bit of pain, but at least he was spared the agony being electrocuted! I can't imagine how anyone can live through that! 😰

I remember 5 years ago when I played sonic and the black knight. You should have seen me when he transformed. I was here there and everywhere. Love the transformation and I also had sonic colours and sonic unleashed. Best games ever.

Seeing this makes me glad I never played Sonic: Lost World because it looks WAY too gimmicky. That boss fight in Secret Rings where you get to play as Darkspine Sonic though, so freaking badass! I've probably replayed that fight at least 20 times if not more.

Holy crap! I played the ds version of sonic colors and not the wii version, and the final battle with eggman, or at least that last part, looks WAY easier that in the DS! On the DS version, you've gotta spam the Y button to use the Final Color Blaster

Yes he is. Many thought the footage from the Japanese trailer of Sonic X he appeared in was supposed to be either a scrapped Hyper Sonic animation or a separate character but when asked, Takashi Izuka himself assured that it was an alternate style of Super Sonic that never made it to the show.
