From my observation, Mars in this sign gains much more power over time, later in life, as the energy needs to mature and there tend to be significant ego struggles in youth. Once the person refines their ego over time, it becomes a formidable spiritual leadership position, especially in a man's chart. The results will also depend on the Sun's condition in the chart.

I have found that with mars in Leo there is a certain air of regalness that they all have. Additionally, they have very large energy. They cannot go unnoticed. I have this placement (maybe because it’s in Magha with Rahu and Jupiter and with Saturn there in Uttara Phalguni), but I have found that wherever I go, people notice me. I am known.
