Totally agree. Cleveland took him as the first pick over Len Bias in the 1987 draft as they wanted a man in the middle. Too bad injuries forced him into early retirement. He was such a great passing big man and probably the best at that time.

Everyone ran zone defenses; they were just good at disguising it. The officials generally required the offensive players to expose it.

Prior to One and Dones.. players developed in systems as collegiate athletes. Fundamentals first, made a better game. Now the NBa is watered down with basically the same player archetype..

I understand I stopped watching the all star game in 2007 because they stopped playing defense. So glad I recorded all the game up to and before so that I can always watch I’m moving towards putting the ones I have up on the channel I just have to get them and begin this process it takes a while but once they are up that will be cool I can rewatch them a bit easier. They are on VHS and time to do this I’ve had the tapes for some time as far back as 1986 and hopefully I can get the tapes to work to copy them to KZfaq the last time I made these were a few years ago. I have lots of other games as well just a tedious process and life kinda got in the way but I’ll begin uploading again I didn’t want to lose a lot of the videos I’ve got some things people probably don’t have or the NBA or NCAA has not posted on KZfaq
