As someone who has doubted themselves and their ideas, Tyler’s mentality when it comes to pushing his thoughts and creative adventures, it really inspired me to be more confident in myself. Even when people ignore me and the things that I wanna push, I just keep it moving and keep knocking on other doors instead of giving up at that one door that didn’t answer my knock. It's true what he said about you never know who might be watching. Tyler was kind enough to let me know he'd been watching my DJ mixes on KZfaq recently over DM. There's a lot of people that might see your work and lurk but don't say anything so big love to Tyler. Just a few years ago I had pretty much zero supporters of my creative endeavours both online and in real life and now I'm so grateful to have a career from my passion against all the odds. Whatever you're doing keep at it because you just can't predict the future and what opportunities will come your way years down the line.

Tyler: hearing u talk about finding Rex and looking at peoples shit cuz u never know who’s looking, it reminded me of the formspring days. I remember someone sent a message tellin u no one ever likes their Instagram posts and you liked them. I was probably 14,15 years old a decade ago… but that meant so much to me and others back then and you’re still out here doin the same thing it really is so sweet. The love I have for you goes beyond words. You make life so much brighter. I hope to tell you that in person one day.

I was 16 back in 2012. I agree that his growth as a person , artist, and musician is just so rare to see nowadays. So many artists within the past 15 years been regressing and not growing with their music. Not Trying new things. They be stuck on one sound, or make the same album every year. Same shit every year, same flow, same production style, etc. BUT TYLER IS GROWING AND EVOLVING EVERYDAY AND GETTING BETTER AND BETTER. I wish we had more artist like Tyler and not a bunch of followers type of so called artists influencing the kids to be followers right along with them.

Wow, this interview has really helped me and the way I'm thinking about things. It's crazy how one thing can change your whole life. I'm thinking about doing a handful of different things but I'm not thinking about how they can all play together and how I can do all of these things under this one world I can create by myself. I respect Tyler cause he's not just a musician and he's not just a designer, he's a human with real ideas and thoughts and he uses that to help teach others and to learn for himself and better everyone. Much love. ❤️

I have truly grown to Love this version of Tyler. I didn't really pay attention to him during his maturation process, but the outcome is marvelous. My biggest takeaway from this session is really trying to draw myself and see what comes out of it! ONE!
