That cop is absolutely right, Except for the D400 all other bikes have modified exhaust which is an offense and even if you are claiming that you did not do any rash driving, you can go back in your own video and see yourself at ~90-100 on Andheri flyover where limit is 40. Splitting lanes without proper indicators, revving engine for no reason towards the end of your own video. You should thankful to god that they charged minimal amount and did not seize all bikes in real. I've seen bikes getting impounded and modified exhaust being removed from bikes and getting destroyed with the help of road roller.

First question is what is the permissible speed limits for bikes in Indian city? Its 50 right? and you guys were riding at around 80 or more too. I was looking at the speedo meter. So try to ride not more than 60-65 as such variance still can be ignored. Secondly being proud of the nice loud exhaust sound does not make one cool. It is subjective and mostly youngsters will like to hear that, but what about whether its legal or not. Modifying silencers or not using stock silencers in original condition and fitment though give lovely sound, its still illegal. Of course other things like illegal number plates etc. which I saw in your group is also something not to be proud off (not you but though having it.) And the most interesting thing which I see in such case when Police catches such bikes is the audacity and the confidence of arguing with the cops. Its really hilarious at manty times and I pity the poor cops who falls into accepting when being told that these are 1000 CC bikes and such exhaust sound is normal or original.....There are many points which I have observed in decades of my riding which I cant even mention here as it will be too long. So to make things short, we should follow simple rule. Do modifications if you like but then don't panic and argue when caught by cops. Pay the fines every time and don't feel sad about it. Some of the lines are not directly related to this video but I thought that I should restate though we all are aware of it.
