I believe the pictures are accurate but some of the stadium footage is generic as a whole (in the Mexico City section I used generic footage from the Estadio Akron). I used free stadium stock footage for commercial use just to make the video enjoyable to watch. But hopefully, in the future, we can afford subscriptions to footage content so I can have access to more accurate stadium footage for the channel. 🤙🏽

I don’t care how “old” the rose bowl looks, it is still one of the most beautiful scenes in sports when it’s full and it hosted a WC final! Some people still appreciate history over shinny.

Rose bowl will host a game. The capacity is even more then you let on I went to a USA vs Mexico championship game a few years back where Mexico won in extra time from that goal from Aguilar. There were well over 100k people in attendance at that game and the atmosphere is electric

Seattle and Vancouver have such similar, unique cultures. IMO the best train in the USA (Amtrak Cascades) runs between the cities. That would be an excellent trip idea for anyone interested.

Canada was originally supposed to have three host cities. The only reason stories changed the number to 2 (FIFA has never confirmed an official number and remains "open" to changes) is because there were only two cities bidding for it. Now that Vancouver is back in the running, you shouldn't be surprised if all three Canadian cities are selected. Edit: ESPN just put out an article confirming that they expect Canada to have 3 host cities.

Philly is a lock they're being discussed to host a semi. -transportation. Stadiums like Gillette are in the middle of nowhere with not great public transportation. Whereas like Denver's Stadium is a 10 minute walk from downtown -geography. If you don't have Denver or KC there's a 2000 mile gap between the west coast and cincy/Nashville which is brutal for the players on 3-4 days rest. Not to mention tough for anyone in the interior US -history hosting soccer. Most of these Stadiums are in cities with MLS teams so that's not an issue but it's interesting when looking at Orlando vs Miami bc Orlando was the city chosen for Copa America

Filippo, Baltimore is pronounced "Baal-tuh-mor." Coming from a Marylander. I think Baltimore will make the bid. Remember they hosted a semifinal in the 2013 Gold Cup between 🇺🇸 and 🇸🇻 and that game sold out. Also they had a friendly in 2009 between AC Milan and Chelsea FC, which also sold out. In the 1980s, Baltimore had a great ⚽️ scene, albeit it was indoor ⚽️ with the Baltimore Blast. Man they was at a time more popular than the Baltimore Orioles ⚾️ team. Go Baltimore!! Philadelphia has to be selected...that will be the 250th anniversary, since the Declaration of Independence was signed in Philadelphia. Have to include the birthplace of the United States. It’s Hollywood. My other places are NY, Philly, Boston, Miami, San Francisco and Seattle. I think KC will get one cause of geography and it essentially being the mid point. I live on the Kansas side of KC, over here we call it KCK which has the Kansas Speedway and Sporting KC. On the Missouri side (KCMO), there’s the Chiefs, Royals, and the main downtown area. They are not the same city, but both have some good ass barbecue.

There’s no way SoFi doesn’t get picked. I know the Rose Bowl has the history (and it’s a fantastic stadium to watch a game in its pure form) but SoFi is expandable to over 100k for World Cup games. I suspect that will be the host stadium for the Final too. It’s by far the best stadium in the US regardless of sport, nothing really touches it IMO.

KC and Denver both make it, in my opinion. You need some stadiums in the middle of rhe country, and KC has some of the best food and fans anywhere.

There is a little mistake when showing the “Estadio Azteca”, whenever you all were talking about Mexico City, you showed pictures of the “Akron Stadium” in Guadalajara (home of Chivas) and also a picture of “Estadio Jalisco” (hone of Atlas F.C.)

Agree with your list except for Nashville. Nissan stadium is in really bad condition and has flooding issues. I think a central location like Kansas City or Denver will be used to cut travel down a little bit.

Kansas City also has the national team training facility. It would make sense to have games there where your training center is right down the road.

Great video tac! I would say that Kansas City might get a bid though based on geography. If they don't choose Kansas, the next closest stadium, to the middle of the nation, might be Colorado or Tennessee; far away. So I think they'll go with KC based on that, and the fan base KC has, as it's consistently one of the best.

I think others already mentioned this, but I gonna mention it again: the Azteca stadium was not in the video, and the Guadalajara stadium was shown instead of the legendary Azteca stadium.

A fun fact about Lumen Field is that it was designed to give teams a home field advantage through noise. Various factors such as the stadium's curved metal roof reflect the sound back onto the field so that the maximum effect of the noise is felt by those playing. The stadium has broken the world record for the loudest sports stadium multiple times, although I think the current record is held by Arrowhead Stadium.

I will say that we in or around Kansas City are pretty confident in our odds. We have some of the strongest soccer support in the country (consistent elite WC watch parties and consistent top 3 TV market for soccer games in the country), we have one of the highest capacity stadiums of the options, we are in a crucial part for FIFA to hold games (middle of the country, if us or Denver don't have games, there will be a massive distance to travel for some teams) and we were the first city FIFA visited to check out the cities and we went all out for it. I think Kansas City will get games.

I'm from NJ. Really hope MetLife hosts the finals or at least some knockout games!

I've been a fan of the World Cup since 2006 in Germany so the fact that the United States, my country, is co-hosting it in 2026 is exciting!! Since some of the matches will be held in Los Angeles where I live, I would imagine they will use So-Fi Stadium for the final, but I would love for them to give some of the business flowing to the Rose Bowl.

To be honest with you I actually don’t think Boston makes it and I am from there. The attendance at revs games isn’t great and foxboro where the stadium is at is well outside the city. Philadelphia for example has a stadium very close to the airport. New York has MetLife which is in New Jersey but we know for sure that MetLife will get games. I think Phili and New York get games with Boston being the odd one out unfortunately

There is a link about the proposed schedule of 2026 WC on Wikipedia. According to that link, the final will be in MetlLife stadium, and the Smi-finals will be in Mercedes Benz stadium and AT&T stadium. Moreover, the stadium in LA will be Rose Bowl! All of these are based on that Wikipedia link.

Thanks for the predictions. I also live in Orlando but i think if it came down to Miami or Orlando for the Florida host city, which it most likely will, I think Orlando would get the bid. Camping World Stadium is actually downtown unlike Hard Rock Stadium and closer to the theme than Hard Rock is to downtown Miami. The question to ask is which city would generate more money from fans? When it comes down to it, Central Florida draws more tourism than South Florida.

I don’t see both Philadelphia and Baltimore making it. They are too close geographically. NY/NJ is in that same area as well and will obviously get chosen.

Writing from California here. The guy commenting on Canada has obviously never been to Edmonton, so his opinion is mostly worthless. I predict Edmonton and Toronto will be the choices. Vancouver would be a relatively poor choice. It's simply not a great sports city, whereas Edmonton is a fantastic sports city even with a smaller population (of ~1M). It also has a very large and very nice stadium that he chose to show covered in snow, which obviously would not be an issue in the World Cup. It also used to have natural turf, so the infrastructure is already in place to support that. Edmonton also drew 40,000 fans in sub zero (C) temperatures in November for a CONCACAF Canada vs. Mexico match. Next time, please choose somebody who isn't so obviously biased, and has spent significant time in all three cities.

We have sooo much to do and see in DFW, TX. The AT&T Stadium is located in Arlington, which is the MidCities area, but we also have Six Flags over Texas there (a huge amusement park), three huge water parks and Rangers baseball just in that town alone. The US Soccer Hall of Fame was added in a major overhaul to Toyota Stadium in Frisco where FC Dallas plays and it’s a lot of fun to see, and currently is the home of the four Women’s World Cup trophies. We have clubs, live music, restaurants for miles, hotels for every budget and just nice people. Our DART rail runs all over the place, too, so transport to the stadium won’t suck. I’m so damn excited for this, and we are just about 4 years out!! 😍👍🏻🇨🇦🇲🇽🇺🇸⚽️

Nashville. Many attributes for the World Cup. Great Airport. Lots of Hotel Space. Many ways to get to the Stadium, you can walk to Titans Stadium from Downtown or take a shuttle from Tennessee State. I would like to see Austin Texas as a World Cup site. Large Stadium 100,000. The Stadium is old however great atmosphere in the city. 48 teams will make it tougher on league play; however lets face it money rules for FIFA.
