You know, as much as I hate to admit it, I think this whole game would've done a lot better if it wasn't Minecraft (and, well, if Telltales gave half a crap when making it -- that would have helped too). Of all the things Minecraft could be, it was _not_ made to be this kind of game (ie a TellTales game -- story-focused, heavily animated, drama...I mean, why??). It doesn't look good, play good -- it doesn't even play like Minecraft. If I want to play Minecraft I'll just open up the game. This thing just wears its skin -- and if Minecraft wasn't the the popular giant it is, absolutely no one would approve of this art choice. I see so much potential for something better than what was given. If Telltales took a chance, made their own IP, with the experience they have -- if they just got a good creative team together -- they could have something great. _And_ have complete ownership over it! But brand recognition sells, I guess. Even if it makes no since.
