Wolfgang Hermann Moissl is an Architekt and author. He lives in Germany. A few years ago he had a profound near-death experience that inspired him to thoroughly reconsider his own worldview, and since this life changing event, he has undergone extensive research on the history of religion and philosophy.
This further inspired him to write a book about his experiences and findings, called "Hereafter and Consciousness". The title also refers to the core message of the book, namely that there is a close connection between these two terms. In this interview Wolfgang Hermann Moissl speaks about his endeavors in attempting to connect his own experiences with conclusions drawn from his research into the fields of religion and philosophy.
Contents:
00:44 Would you start by telling us which circumstances led to this near-death experience and what you experienced at the time?
06:19 Light being, what should we understand by this? Would you be able to describe this in more detail?
08:21 When you think of the love that you felt - did you get the impression that this love came from the light being, or that it was connected to this light being?
09:35 You mentioned that quite quickly, you viewed this out-of-body state as something natural. Was it normal for you to see life in a bigger overall context?
12:33 How did you cope with your experiences later on?
15:03 What happened after you had decided to go back into your body?
16:16 And you were able to remember all the things that you just told me immediately after waking up?
16:45 In how far has the near-death experience had a lasting effect on your way of thinking and your decision-making in everyday life?
18:50 If we talk about the keyword philosophy, what is your resumé?
20:23 What do the terms materialistic and naturalistic sciences mean to you?
22:40 How do you perceive religion?
25:40 From your perspective, what is the essential core of humans? What is your conception of man?
28:24 Due to your many years of experience and findings, is there something that seems important to you?

I was about to commit suicide. At the last minute, I looked up and said, "I surrender." Shortly thereafter, I was absolutely bathed is unconditional love. It felt like a hug from God. It was the most amazing experience I have ever had, and I will never forget it. That moment changed my life forever!

When I was four, I had an NDE when I fell from an apartment balcony. There were beings of light encircling me - ones with light where their faces would be. They seemed to make music with their voices - kind of like little bells ringing. I was unconscious for several hours, but it only seemed to last for minutes, but I've never forgotten how beautiful it was and how much, as this gentleman describes, 'divine love' was there. Blessings to all. 💫🙏🍃💙

I’ve had 2 NDEs. One was an OBE and the other happened while I was wide awake. First one I was 7. Second I was 45. It’s been 4 years and I’m still learning. He’s correct. I came to the same conclusions about death and consciousness and reality and really it is a shift in dimensional consciousness and awareness. I had a very similar experience to this man. Seeing a light being although it took the form of someone I knew who had only two years prior passed away. I felt like he was wanting me to come with him. He was happy to see me and I said “where are you?” Strangely I wasn’t startled I was happy to “see” him. He extended his hand as if “take my hand” and he said “here...you’ll like it.” I wasn’t sure where “here” was. It looked like a galaxy and a bunch of white balls flying around. Unfortunately or perhaps fortunately my experience was interrupted when someone walked into the room and grabbed my hand and pulled me. I wondered if they saw it too but I didn’t ask I didn’t want to sound crazy. I had no knowledge of any of this before. I felt the same after wards. The suffering I was enduring up until that point fell away and I have been on a spiritual journey ever since. It’s not quite so simple. It’s a process of cleansing and emotional healing (which is enormously painful at times) and evolving and like getting a computer upgrade I called it. I wish I could talk to someone like this guy. I had a similar reaction from “family and friends.” I don’t blame them though. It’s sounds nutty but it’s the most beautiful experience I have ever had. The profound and divine love you feel is like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. And the atonement. It’s like heaven on earth. 🙏

Same here👍..And the thing that makes them SO VALUABLE is when these NDE people IN Spirit travel the walls of the hospitals and HEAR what their FAMILY MEMBERS are saying.. And when they wake up, they ask their family members "DID YOU SAY ETC? AND WERE YOU WEARING ETC CLOTHES?"... .....and their FAMILY MEMBERS tell them. Yes-- How did you know? If you were dead 5 rooms away.... THIS I THINK, IS THE PROOF THAT THESE THINGS ARENT "Imaginations"😉👍... GOD BLESS YOU BRO.

I was pronounced DOA ( DEAD On ARRIVAL ) at a medical center in 1973... No further attempt was made to resuscitate me... More than half an hour passed, and then my Heart started to beat again... During that half hour, I discovered the DIFFERENCE, between the human body, and "LIFE The Real Self"... I found this universe including the human body, to be just a 'STORY', presented in the form of a 'Holographic Simulation', in a Display Register, of "The Processing System of LIFE", where "LIFE The Real Self", ( An Offspring of The LIGHT ) is the OBSERVER.

Dee Pryor I had to comment on this. When my little sister was about 3 or 4 years old, she randomly told me and my mom in the kitchen one day that our grandma used to make her bean soup in heaven. My grandma died about 3 years before my sister was born. The crazy part is that my grandmas favorite thing to make was bean soup and no one had ever told my sister this. I still don’t know exactly what I believe but that was a pretty crazy experience hearing her say that

Finally, someone who is able to place his NDE in wide perspective and deal with it in a deeply philosophical way, independently of any particular religion. And at the end he says he'd like to bring some peace to our world by changing our outlook so we can accept and radiate eternal love from the hereafter.

Part 1. During August of 1973, I was pronounced DEAD On Arrival, at a Medical centre, and at least half an hour passed by, and then my heart started to beat again, without medical assistance... During the time I was reported to be dead, I, that is "LIFE My Real Self", felt very much alive, but not in this universe, nor did I have a human body or any other type of body. I felt NO Condemnation or judgement, but only a depth of LOVE far beyond human understanding... I saw No relatives, family or friends, and no Form, except for the Presence of pure white LIGHT.

Very interesting experience. At around the 11.20 timeline this man evinces the common difficulty of rendering the experience in words, that others have struggled with; it is the same with mystical experiences of ordinary people; for example of one woman: "The experience lies far beyond my command of words and loses so much in the telling." A man relates: "The unity of all life spread out before me, as though a vast curtain had lifted; words fall lamentably short of the full experience." Dank Herr Werner Heumer. We all need your sharing of these wunderbar stories that you have graciously provided in the broader context.

From since I was a boy, I heard a song, "tinker, sailor, soldier, rich man poor man, beggar man thief. That is how I view life, We live a life of many different sources of existence in order to understand how it feels to be these beings. They all have strengths and weaknesses. Advantages and disadvantages. For what purpose I don't know. For spiritual growth I suppose. We do live for ever just not all of it here on this planet. I saw a spirit once of a young man who had drowned. He looked as live and well as any living being. He was not alarming or aggressive. He just was !. I believe in GOD and his son, Although I have left earth's institutional religion.

It must be difficult, after such an experience. That experience which broadens ones view of everything. Then to go on in life, without allowing your associates, family etc. to see that you are in fact altered. Surely this changes the entire dynamic of the experiencer, which leads to vast life changes. I am curious, as to what effect this had on this mans family, friends etc. This could be fascinating to watch as a movie.

When the interviewer asked about the phylosophers i knew he would say Plato. Plato is the basis for the metaphysical terms that the Catholic Church developed theology, with the revelations as well. I used to be an atheist, i had a vision of Jesus and became a catholic. But Jesus didn't show me any religion. I myself, like this guy, started to pursue truth and I found it in Catholic faith

I had a NDE 26 years ago while undergoing an operation on my larynx to remove a polyp. My son was 4 years old. I left him with my friend while I was in theatre. Its something that frightened me so much. Even now talking about it is not easy. What this man describes is similar to my experience. The enveloping darkness. The being that comes to your side. The light before darkness. He'll is real. It's not a story. I negotiated my way back to earth. Death is transition from physical matter to spiritual being. You leave with your personality. You feel, talk, negotiate, just like you're on earth. Our personalities leave with us.

Yes, our personalities do leave with us! I know it as my mum spoke to me from the beyond with her normal voice and she said it in the way she always spoke. On that day I have not even thought about her as I was so incredibly busy, yet all of a sudden I heard her voice coming from behind me. I proceeded to do what she had ordered me and only then I remembered that she's dead for seven years!! She retained her character after she was no longer here. I thought that everyone turns to an incredibly kind, angelic person, but that is not true.

If that would happen to me, my knowledge would directly lead me to call my guides(spiritual assistant that is assigned to us personally through our lives) to let me know the intent of the presence. Surrounding yourself with light in thought protects from more harmful entity! In your case, I have a feeling that if the presence was of bad intent it would have presented itself in a more darker light or form! Your senses would have taken you to fear. So I guess this is not quite the case. I hope you find the answer to your question if not on your own then maybe through a trusting medium. With lots of love and light

Something like that happened to me in 2 different dreams. One looked like someone I knew but it was odd. I asked who are you? The face became demonic and it tried to attack me but ppl in the background surrounded me in protection. In another dream a stranger faced me, I asked who are you? It froze & disappeared before my eyes. I had been protected again. I felt deep gratitude that I had been fought for, guarded.

If I were you I’d let it be incl the being. In your mind you can wish it love and explain your fear if you have any and either ask for it to show itself again or to not pls because you’re afraid and end with thank you. You don’t need spiritual knowledge. We all have the answers. Good luck.

Thank you for sharing. @Wolfgang Moissl - There is one faith that reaffirms the unity of all the religions - explains that all religions are part of the same religion and from the same One God. Like different chapters of the same book of religion from God. No one is superior. All came from the same God to different peoples with teachings and guidance suited to the needs of those people and their capacity at the time. That's why the spiritual teachings are a common thread amongst them all. But the social teachings of each change according to the needs of mankind. Look it up: The Baha'i Faith. “Religion should unite all hearts and cause wars and disputes to vanish from the face of the earth; it should give birth to spirituality, and bring light and life to every soul. If religion becomes a cause of dislike, hatred and division it would be better to be without it, and to withdraw from such a religion would be a truly religious act. For it is clear that the purpose of a remedy is to cure, but if the remedy only aggravates the complaint, it had better be left alone. Any religion which is not a cause of love and unity is no religion..."

I went through another kind of nde which after seem to have offered me this white light to hold me just like than in every extremely humiliating and hard situation. I don t want to get deeper into this nde experience, but it brought back my philosophing me and this brought me to question the good and the bad on several religions and the human psycholocical factors and limitations which i think have limited and made some religions go far away from the true and truth behind our existens. And some asoects are really damaging. This should be brought to conscienceness and practical thinking hand in hand. My mini thoughts after seeing this interview. I was not clinically death But psycholocically i was as good as done.

It would be awesome to have a mediator to help bridge gaps between religions, however, so many religions think their religion is the only true religion, and beware that others will try and convince them that theirs is not, and they teach to stay away from those people who might draw you away. So essentially, those people have been taught to be stubborn as rocks and never be open to anything outside that religion. It's a sad reality, I had originally came from an upbringing in one of these religions, and I never believed in it since a child, and broke free of it for good by age 16... I am almost 50 now and i still get pressure from my family, saying it is the only true religion and that I should go back in order to be righteous, so I could go to the highest kingdom... I personally know that love is higher than all religions and it is not necessary hehe... Love exists outside of the box of religion. Religion may contain love, but love doesn't require religion. I've always known this, but my family is too stubborn to ever see reality from my eyes...

Part 2. I then entered into the LIGHT, the source of "LIFE The Real Self", and was Aware of "The ALL". That is to say I was Aware of ALL that existed.... What I learnt from this, was essentially the DIFFERENCE, between "LIFE The Real Self", which is "The LIGHT of MAN", which is "The LIFE of GOD", and the Universes and other worlds, are just 'STORIES', told in the form of 'Holographic Simulations', displayed in a Display Register, of "The Processing System of LIFE", referred to in ancient manuscripts, as "The HOUSE of GOD" !
