REWORK OR BUFF? I just enjoy the new and improved warden. Had lots of fun playing him recently and theres things you could not do before. Is he top tier now? No but that doesnt mean you cant enjoy his new moveset. Ill make a video discussing highlanders rework soon. Thanks for being here.

He's feels like the same character basically. I feel like he desperately needs a dodge attack or i frame buff to his dodge bash. Fighting a pressure character like ocelotl is just insanely difficult to do consistently. I wish his reverse gb throw had a blinding effect like kensei gb throw. Mostly for flavor, the animation is absolutely perfect for a stun effect. And then slight stamina buffs. Whether it's through adding soft feints or reducing Stam costs for feinting.

It's just a slight buff, not a rework a rework is you have to add moves to a person's kit for it to be a rework. All he got was some new animations and hyper armor on bash that entails. He doesn't even have a new move set

For Honor devs reworking Law: Feintable chain bash is too overpowered lets not add it. For Honor devs reworking HL: we should let HL feint his bash even though its a free heavy and can soft feint to catch grabs.

I'm sorry but calling this a rework is just sad, the ONLY change is the hyper armor, the new animations have the exact same frame data as before, this is NOT what warden needed, all this did was further drill in his shoulder bash spam playstyle instead of letting warden be something more interesting

The changes are so good. Just one more change to the zone and Crushing counter and we have the true version of warden. The interupts into external Hyper armor makes warden really good to bounce arround the enemys.

Am I the only one saying it’s not a rework? I honestly don’t think it is. It’s a buff. I like the BUFF but it doesn’t change how you play the character. You still bash mix up. The follow up is better from bash but it isn’t enough of a change in my opinion to be called a rework.

I honestly would go back to For Honor if we got rid of all the spamming abuse. I rage so much when people beat you using a single move. Variety, skill, ganging up. Even ledge throw I can take. Not spam, turns me off.

The old double light animation had some horizontal hitbox so you could actually clip some minions if you fought someone at mid, not very useful but you could do that. Now it seems to have no horizontal coverage. Doesnt matter though, still a good buff and already had some fightd where hyperarmor granted the kill

Man like, this is all ive wanted for Warden all my life. Was the one i played most in alpha or beta, then spent an unhealthy amount of time trying to be a good LB for most years, but everytime i got a bit better i got set back by the game being too fast for my brain haha. I still wish LB had more variety in his moveset, ever since they got rid of impale off heavy parry it felt like hes a bit less interesting. I really like intricate stuff like that. Whats the fashion here btw? i really like the colors and the chest armor. SIlver metal i think?

Yea ngl the hyper armor is only good for being able to do your chain in team fights without being interrupted, it doesn’t really help with trades or anything, the chain lights are slightly faster it seems but other than that it’s not too much.

I think it allows warden to change his playstyle in teamfights. It probably is not nearly enough to be a full on rework like HL or Kenseis, but with new animations and hyper armor, hes a different hero.

I honestly wouldve prefered they didnt touch Lawbringer and now Warden and Highlander. They shouldve maybe worked on guys like Shaolin that just have too many options imo or some shit. This is not a rework at all . Just some re animations and a sprinkle of hyper armor lawbringer has still technically had more work done to him . Warden is still starving when every other vanguard still has such strong kits with soft fients,unblockables ,undodgables,strong feats the only thing warden does better than everybody on the roster is slay in fashion

Does anyone else the new animations actually look pretty bad? They have awful flow from combo to neutral and don't even make sense in context to his kit. Think about it, for what reason would you stab at an opponent who had their guard broken and pushed aside? Wouldnt it make more sense for the stab to be his neutral light? Stabs are safer, longer ranged and less committal than slashes, using a stab when *you know* you can land a hit and using slashes when you think you can't is just counterintuitive. It also just makes more sense given his position when he bashes, he's already in the stance he uses for his slashes by the time his shoulder bash ends. The way it looks now is like he bashes the opponent, steps away for a second to reset into a proper stance, then stabs after giving them a moment to breath, rather than actually using the opening the shoulder bash provides

God. Gladiator is such a crutch character. Even someone as skilled as solid sol has to try hard just to keep up with glad as warden. Meanwhile they can just spam dodge bash, toe stab, and lights

This looks TERRIBLE in my opinion. The way the animation looks is fine but the ending skips SO many frames to get his weapon back into his hands the way it's supposed to. Depending on the side you are guarding towards it's better or worse but once you see it you can't unsee it anymore. It's an absolute disgrace. What's worse is that the hit with the crossguard during the heavy punish after a charged bash kills the enemy with the hilt towards him only to magically have him be dead with the blade sticking in his body. Like what even is that? How did they not think about this while developing the moves? What a bad choice, jesus lord almighty.
