It's not that we don't care we do, but let be honest if Kobe and hoax daughter werent on that helicopter most of us would not have even heard about it. I'm not saying that they don't matter they do and my thoughts are with thier families, but the, reason everyone is talking about Kobe and his daughter is because we feel like we know him we watched him for so many years playing for the Lakers playing for the USA national team in interviews in commercials the list goes on and on

I had two friends die this past year suddenly, both were dad’s. They weren’t heroes or famous like Kobe was but they were heroes to all that loved them. Having Kobe die with his daughter brought up the memories of their deaths especially of one of them cause he was a huge Lakers and Kobe fan. His wife wrote on his Facebook about loosing another great and hoped he’d be at the gates of heaven to great him. We don’t expect to loose people so young. There’s so much hate in this world. You never know when your going to loose someone you love or care about, life is too short to hate so much. Remember to keep in touch with friends and family, you never know what tomorrow brings. You don’t want to live with the regrets of what you could have said or done. Life is tough enough for everyone, stop hating so much. My friends were 40 and that’s too soon to be gone, just like Kobe. Don’t wait until their gone to realize how important they really were.

I do know from what i read the hillside came up really fast so i dont think it would of helped eather way. The best thing would of been not to fly if lapd didnt let there aircraft fly that morning. Media wise, ideally it woulde be greay. But realistically speaking, there just isnt enough room to cover everyones story. The second thing is if it were Willie Nelson you wouldnt be making that comment. Theres always this sentiment of exclusion on the part of caucasians when a famous black person is mourned. Almost as if ok thats enough already other people die tragically too. Its the same sentimental reaction that created the " all lives matter" statements only because a few african americans across the country became fed up with police brutality and came up with the Black Lives Matter movement. Quit acting like you're being excluded from something as if there isnt enough privilege there for you as it is to begin with!! Whiners!

What I meant is that it’s sad that so many people that went through the same thing didn’t get the same acknowledgement as kobe.. & Alicia Keys called him a HERO and I personally don’t see him as a Hero he was just a good athlete and many more things I assume.. & don’t get me wrong it’s tragic to see what happened to him and his daughter, friends, and the pilot🙏🏼 but I just didn’t agree w the hero comment when there’s actually hero’s dying out there and are probably never known. anyways at the end of the day that’s just my opinion :)

Appreciate the times we had with him, those golden years of basketball he brought for us. Kobe lives energetically inside our hearts, we haven't forgotten about him, he hasn't truly died, and he will never. A great man with the heart and mentality of the world. Even his opponents couldn't help but love him, this is when you know you've met a wonderful man indeed. Gigi is a beautiful, young girl overflowing with talent. I was not a basketball fan and I had to google Kobe to know who he was when I heard the news.. but I'm sensitive and it hurts. I can't stop thinking about it. But not every bad news affects me. So I understand what you mean. That doesn't make you a bad person.
