A bunch of random beta features which will probably get delayed like typography variables did. I'm still waiting for simple things like % units for frames in auto layout

cool... but can we have the basics like FR and % units? Nested instances you can reorder? etc

Yes % units is something so simple to add and would make screens fully responsive... but no mention of it :(

I really like the fact that we get to train the AI that will replace us within a couple of years, we have to pay to train it, but we can opt out if for whatever weird reason you wanted to...I mean who doesn't want the burden of their existence taken way? who actually likes the creative, design process anyway? we just want new products obviously...so thoughtful of you figma!

Stuff like renaming layers, translating copy, changing voice & tone, etc. is a lot more like the laundry and dishes of dish work than anything creative, fun, or even all that valuable. AI can do that menial work.

@@taylorlapeyreyou should know by now that people just want stuff for free. Because everybody knows that all employees at these companies don’t eat, don’t have bills, mortgages, kids… they just love to work for free and feed out of users delight

@@problemimentaliDev mode used to be free - I think they should make some of the more advanced Dev mode things such as marking as ready and handoff paid but keep core dev mode for everyone

Change your predatory pricing plan, and more users will subscribe instead of making a niche service more general

Bruh..., the new design with those floating blocks is terrible. Haven’t you read the study that the most accessible place to click is the edges of the screen? And now there’s just emptiness there, you’ll have to aim to exactly hit the desired layer...
